The following is from thetruthseeker website.
Syrian ‘rebels’ have adopted a new tactic in their campaign against President Bashar al-Assad. First they kill ordinary Syrians. Then they blame either government forces or ‘pro-government militias’ for the killing.
This happened last week when gunmen shot dead over 100 people – mainly women and children – in Syria’s Houla region.
The government of President Assad would gain absolutely nothing from such slaughter. However, Syrian ‘rebels’ would be able to use incidents like it to drum up support for their campaign against Assad on ‘humanitarian grounds.
Nonetheless, the Western corporate media is giving a measure of credence to ’Syrian rebels’ claims.
In the latest killings at least ten men have been executed near the Syrian town of al-Qusair and ‘rebels’ are again blaming forces loyal to President Assad for the killings.
Although the Reuters report below does mention that the Syrian media has blamed ‘terrorists’ for the killing, it gives slightly more prominence to ‘activists’ claims.
Quoting a Syrian ‘activist’ at length, without questioning him, Reuters mentions how Syrian rebels released a video of the bloodied corpses from the latest killings.
The following report doesn’t question how the rebels obtained the video. Nor does it consider the possibility that the Western backed Syrian ‘rebels’ may have carried out the killings themselves, filmed the aftermath and then released the video to the Western media with claims that forces ‘loyal to President Assad’ were responsible.
Instead Reuters simply quotes ‘opposition activists’ at length blaming pro-government forces for the killings, without any attempt to verify their claims.
As Reuters explains:
It was impossible to verify Buweida’s account of the killing. Syria has restricted journalists’ access since the start of the uprising against Assad 15 months ago.
