Ayatollah Khomeini remembered

Christians can certainly respect the courage of the Muslims and Ayatollah Khomeini, who died on 3rd June 1989. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard fought for an Ideal, an independent Iranian Iran.

The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad  stated recently “Imam [Khomeini] affirmed that we revolted and stood firm to claim the rights of nations and establish justice, and it was for this very cause that he took a stand against the Zionist regime [of Israel] that was obvious injustice and an insult to nations and humanity,”
