50% of people didn’t vote in Fiscal Treaty

The current system is clearly on the way out as 50% of those eligible to vote in the recent referendum didn’t vote. A significant number of the population has come to this point. In their heart and soul, they no longer believe in the system. A clear message was sent to the political parties. It shows that people don’t believe in the current system. They can terrify the people but they did not achieve inward assent.

For a significant section of the population the system has become obsolete.
