Gardai use Pepper Spray at Labour party conference

I personally witnessed a girl in clear distress having been pepper sprayed by the Gardai. It was a peaceful protest and the use of pepper spray has angered people. Questions must be asked as to why pepper spray was used? It is a disgrace to use pepper spray in this manner. A few of us spoke to a woman, who had a baby in a pram. She stated, she was in the vicinity of where pepper spray was used. The local Gardai need to outline as to why their members used pepper spray during this protest?
