Benedict’s Thinking III

Bishop Williamson continues in his series

ELEISON  COMMENTS  CCX  (July 23, 2011) :  BENEDICT'S   THINKING   III

After studying the roots of Pope Benedict's thinking (EC 209), Bishop Tissier in his Faith Imperilled by Reason proceeds to study its fruits. If that thinking is rooted above all in the systematic subjectivism of Kant (1724-1804), those fruits cannot be good. How can the objective truths of the Faith be made in any way intrinsically dependent on the participation or reactions of the subjective believer ?  The Gospel, dogma, the Church, society, Christ the King and the Last Ends will be, one after another, mortally stricken.

Let us start with the Gospel. Its value lies no longer in telling the historical facts of the life and death of Our Lord, but rather in the power of its narrative to evoke existential problems of our own time. For instance whether Our Lord's very own body sprang re-united with his human soul out of the tomb on Easter morning is not important. What matters is the modern meaning behind the narrative : love is stronger than death, Christ lives on by the force of love, and guarantees that we too will survive by love. Forget the reality, the facts. "All you need is love.”

Dogma needs likewise to be purified of the past and enriched by the present. Now the present-day philosopher Heidegger teaches that the person is a "self-surpassing". Then Christ was the man so totally self-surpassing, so completely striving for the infinite beyond himself, that he fulfilled himself to the point of becoming divine. So the dogma of the Incarnation no longer means that God became man, but that man became God !  Similarly the Redemption must mean no longer that Jesus paid to his Father by his terrible Passion the debt for all men's sins, but that by his Cross he loved God in our stead as God should be loved, and he attracts us to do the same. Sin has ceased to be a mortal offence against God, it is merely a selfishness, a lack of love. So Mass no longer needs to be a sacrifice, and the priest becomes merely the animator of the communal celebration. No wonder Benedict believes in the Novus Ordo Mass.

As for the Church, since the existent person is the supreme value (cf. EC 209) and all persons are equally existent, then away with a Church of hierarchical inequalities, and away with the Catholic Church as the one and only Ark of Salvation, because the followers of every religion are existent persons. Let ecumenism replace all Catholic missionary efforts. Also, making the person into the supreme value will dissolve society by subordinating the common good to the individual's rights, and it will undermine both marriage and society by putting the mutual company of the male and female persons in front of children. As for Christ the King, he will be dethroned by the bestowing upon every person such dignity that the State must protect that person's right to choose his own religion.

Finally death, from a penalty, becomes a remedy for our ills. The particular judgment means only a reward. Hell is no more than an irrevocably selfish state of soul. Heaven will be "an ever new immersion in the infinity of being" -- what being? -- and so on.

Here is a new religion, comments Bishop Tissier, rather more comfortable - at least here below -- than the Catholic religion.

                       Kyrie eleison.

When is enough, enough?

A repost of a blog entry from Fr Marshall M. Roberts

http://kingshipofchrist.blogspot.com/2011/07/when-is-enough-enough.html

At the end of June, Americans saw the sixth state of the union approve what is euphemistically called gay "marriage". The Democrats and Republicans were able to see beyond their differences enough to agree on the overthrow of the traditional definition of marriage and to embrace a new, elastic one. It was another blow to the conservative cause in the United States, and another example where those supposedly divided in politics were able to act as one, and draw from one principle: there is no moral law save for what man decides; all else is in the private sphere, and even here there is the danger of opposition being stamped out. This was made clear by the warning of the Archbishop of New York, Timothy Dolan:

"If the experience of those few other states and countries where this is already law is any indication, the churches, and believers, will soon be harassed, threatened, and hauled into court for their conviction that marriage is between one man, one woman, forever, bringing children into the world,” wrote the archbishop.

This is a rather dire warning from one who did little to halt the process as it was being moved forward, yet despite the emptiness of his actions, his warning rings true. For a world in open revolt against the very idea of submission to God, persecution cannot be far behind, open or not. No doubt this new instance of revolt will not stir the conscience of those who are so devoted to the modern ideals of democracy that they not dare to question their loyalties. But for the Catholic who knows history and realizes that states rise and fall while only the Church is guaranteed not to fail, it is time to shake off the illusions of the modern world. For anyone who has eyes to see, the western world is throwing off all of its history so as to embrace the world promised by liberalism, a world where man answers only to himself. No Catholic can embrace such a world-view and yet remain a true Catholic, for he knows that all things were created to help man reach his supernatural goal, that there is truly a God Who governs the world and before Whom all must submit or be destroyed.

The modern illusion is wet with the blood of millions; it bred the First World War, the war to end all wars, the Second World War in which the godlessness of Nazism was fought by the Allies in full union with the scourge of atheistic Communism as incarnate in the Soviet Union, in the rise of Communist China and its purge of millions, in the death of millions of the unborn at the hands of the very mothers that conceived them, and this plague is in the decadent West. Even now, Euthanasia slowly finds legal refuge in lands where death threatens the very young as well as the sick and aged.

The apostasy lies heavy in these United States as modern education and hedonism combine to produce the malleable population foreseen by Pope Leo XIII in his masterful encyclical against Freemasonry. Yet Catholics remain paralyzed. Modernism and the desire for pleasure have converted them in droves, and the anemic Churchmen since the Second Vatican Council either lead the apostasy, or remain unable to gather opposition. For Catholics loyal to Tradition there is a fear of letting go of the last treads tying them to the liberal illusion, though the grosser of the errors have not been able to seduce them. How should we treat this State that more and more shows who its master really is?

Some claim that we are in a position like the early days of the Church, when pagan emperors threatened the lives of Christians, and their empire held many of the present day illusions. Were the rulers not unbelievers? Christians were loyal to them nonetheless, despite their errors. In fact, the Theban Legions shows Catholic soldiery willing to die rather than either to offend God by false worship, or to take up arms against the pagan emperor. It seems a strong argument. However, this modern world is not the world languishing in ignorance concerning the Saviour. It is the world turned away from the true God, rejecting Him and His Rule in favour of the rule of almighty man. This is a different and more evil world, a new paganism worse than the first. It is not to the Caesars that we must turn for inspiration, but to that mighty Pontiff, Pope St. Pius V, as he deprived the bastard Elizabeth of the throne of England, though she was acknowledged by the great majority of her subjects, and his forbidding of Catholics to acknowledge the apostate as legitimate queen. This is the action of a saint faced with a ruler not pagan, but unfaithful. It not the voice of human prudence, but of Divine sight.

The modern governments are not pagan, per se. They are apostate. They have turned away from the truth in order to make their own "truth". They are ripening for the punishment of apostasy. They are the fig tree where Christ can find no fruit. They have been weighed and found wanting. Catholics need not refuse to acknowledge these states, for the Church has not deposed their rulers as she did the bastard Elizabeth. They still have some claim, perhaps, to our allegiance. But the age of illusions must pass. It is time for Catholics to refuse to go along with the tide of liberalism infecting both parties of government. It is time to pull out of a losing battle. There is only one answer, the Catholic one. There is only the true Faith that can save us. It is only Christ Who stands behind every human authority. When that authority allows its own citizens to be put to death by the millions, when it perverts the natural order by contraception, abortion, and gay marriage, the Catholic must finally make a choice as to where his allegiance finally lies.

We live in an age where Americans more and more show that they have lost all contact with even natural truth. They are the makers of reality. God is no more than the religious projection of their own self-deification. With such men, we must realize that compromise is impossible. It might mean that we can no longer patronize restaurants or other businesses that pour money into the organized revolt against God; it might mean refusing to vote unless the candidate is Catholic in his stand; it might mean inconvenience to us as to where we work, or where we keep our money. But it is God's rights that are at stake. We must come to the point when we realize that enough is enough. It is time to be Catholic, and to let the chips fall.

Fr Cooper SSPX in serious accident- please pray for him

This blog featured some of Fr Cooper’s sermons over the years. Please keep Fr Daniel Cooper in your prayers.

“I called Veneta Rectory and Father Cooper is in stable condition.  He wasn't injured as seriously as was suggested.  He was injured in the face, has bad cuts, bruising, and his eye is swollen shut, but nothing fatal.  He won't lose his eye, just badly bruised.  He has numerous cuts and scratches on his arm as well, but did not sustain any real serious head injuries, did not receive the last Sacraments, as it wasn't necessary.  Father from the Rectory gave him Holy Communion today and said he is recovering just fine.
Please let others know, but he does need prayers for a good recovery, as he would like to get back to his work.”

Benedict's Thinking II

Bishop Williamson continues to outline the mindset of Benedict XVI. Benedict’s Thinking I is included below the current column.

ELEISON  COMMENTS  CCIX  (July 16, 2011) :  BENEDICT'S  THINKING  II
If one divides into four parts Bishop Tissier's study of the thinking of Benedict XVI, then the second part presents its philosophical and theological roots. By analyzing the philosophy first, the Bishop is following Pius X's great Encyclical "Pascendi". If a wine bottle is dirty inside, the very best of wine poured into it will be spoiled. If a man's mind is disconnected from reality, as it is by modern philosophy, then even the Catholic Faith filtered through it will be disoriented, because it will no longer be oriented by reality. Here is Benedict's problem.

Like Pius X before him, the Bishop attributes the prime responsibility for this disaster of modern minds to the German Enlightenment philosopher, Immanuel KANT (1724-1804), who finalized the system of anti-thought, prevailing now everywhere, which excludes God from rational discourse. For if, as Kant claimed, the mind can know nothing of the object except what appears to the senses, then the mind is free to reconstruct the reality behind the sense appearances however it may like, objective reality is dismissed as unknowable, and the subject reigns supreme. If the subject needs God and postulates his existence, well and good. Otherwise, so to speak, God is out of luck !

Bishop Tissier then presents five modern philosophers, all grappling with the consequences of Kant's subjective folly of putting idea over reality and subject over object. The two most important of them for this Pope's thinking might be Heidegger (1889-1976), a father of existentialism, and Buber (1878-1965), a leading exponent of personalism. If essences are unknowable (Kant), then there remains only existence. Now the most important existent is the person, constituted for Buber by intersubjectivity, or the "I-You" relationship between subjective persons, which for Buber opens the way to God. Therefore knowledge of the objective God is going to depend on the subjective involvement of the human person. What an insecure foundation for that knowledge !

Yet involvement of the human subject will be the key to Benedict's theological thinking, influenced firstly, writes the Bishop, by the renowned School of Tuebingen. Founded by J.S. von Drey (1777-1853), this School held that history is moved by the spirit of the age in constant movement, and this spirit is the Spirit of Christ. Therefore God's Revelation is no longer the Deposit of Faith closed at the death of the last Apostle, and merely made more explicit as time goes on. Instead, it has a constantly evolving content to which the receiving subject contributes. So the Church of each age plays an active and not just passive part in Revelation, and it gives to past Tradition its present meaning. Is  this beginning to sound familiar ?  Like the hermeneutic of Dilthey ?  See EC 208.

Thus for Benedict XVI God is not an object apart, nor merely objective, he is personal, an "I" exchanging with each human "You". Scripture or Tradition do come objectively from the divine "I", but on the other hand the living and moving "You" must constantly re-read that Scripture, and since Scripture is the basis of Tradition, then Tradition too must become dynamic by the subject's involvement, and not just static, like Archbishop Lefebvre's "fixist" Tradition. Similarly theology must be subjectivized, Faith must be a personal "experiencing" of God, and even the Magisterium must stop being merely static.
"Accursed is the man that puts his trust in man" says Jeremiah ( XVII, 5).
Kyrie eleison.

ELEISON  COMMENTS  CCVIII  (July 9, 2011) :  BENEDICT'S  THINKING  I
The "Eleison Comments" of June 18 promised a series of four numbers which would show how "disoriented" is Pope Benedict XVI's "way of believing". They present in fact a summary of the precious tract on his thinking written a few years ago by Bishop Tissier de Mallerais, one of the four bishops of the Society of St Pius X. The Bishop's tract, The Faith Imperilled by Reason, he calls "unpretentious", but it does lay bare the Pope's fundamental problem - how to believe in the Catholic Faith in such a way as not to exclude the values of the modern world. The tract shows that such a way of believing is necessarily disoriented, even if the Pope does still in some way believe.

It divides into four parts. After an important Introduction to Benedict XVI's "Hermeneutic of Continuity", Bishop Tissier looks briefly at the philosophical and theological roots of the Pope's thinking. Thirdly he lays out its fruits for the Gospel, for dogma, for the Church and society, for the Kingship of Christ and for the Last Things. He concludes with a measured judgment upon the Pope's Newfaith, highly critical but wholly respectful. Let us start with an overview of the Introduction:--

The basic problem for Benedict XVI, as for all of us, is the clash between the Catholic Faith and the modern world. For instance he sees that modern science is amoral, that modern society is secular and modern culture is multi-religious. He specifies the clash as being between Faith and Reason, between the Faith of the Church, and Reason as worked out by the 18th century Enlightenment. However, he is convinced that they can and must both be interpreted in such a way as to bring them into harmony with one another. Hence his close participation in Vatican II, a Council which attempted to reconcile the Faith with today's world. But Traditionalists say that the Council failed, because its very principles are irreconcilable with the Faith. Hence Pope Benedict's "Hermeneutic of Continuity", or system of interpretation to show that there is no rupture between Catholic Tradition and Vatican II.

The principles for Benedict's  "hermeneutic" go back to a German historian of the 19th century, Wilhelm Dilthey (1833-1911). Dilthey maintained that as truths arise in history, so they can only be understood in their history, and human truths cannot be understood without the involvement of the human subject in that history. So to continue the core of past truths into the present, one needs to subtract all elements belonging to the past, now irrelevant, and replace them with elements important for the living present. Benedict applies to the Church this double process of purification and enrichment. On the one hand Reason must purify the Faith of its errors from the past, e.g. its absolutism, while on the other hand the Faith must get Reason to moderate its attacks on religion and to remember that its humanist values, liberty, equality and fraternity, all originated in the Church.

The great error here of the Pope is that the truths of the Catholic Faith on which Christian civilization was built and on which its feeble remains still rest, have their origin by no means in human history, but in the eternal bosom of the unchanging God. They are eternal truths, from eternity, for eternity. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away" says Our Lord, (MtXXIV,35).                Neither Dilthey nor, apparently, Benedict XVI can conceive of truths far above human history and above all its conditioning. If the Pope thinks that by making such concessions to faithless Reason, he will draw its adherents towards the Faith, let him think again. They merely despise Faith the more !

Next, the philosophical and theological roots of Benedict's thinking.
Kyrie eleison.

Irish Catholic Martyrs

'In spite of dungeon, fire and sword'

Catholics have suffered and died for the faith in Ireland and this should always be remembered. Christ has called us to be apostles, to be soldiers for Christ. The command is to go and teach all nations. Christ was well aware of opposition from the enemy. The Jews, Freemasons, Atheists and other liberals.  The enemies have declared war on the Church and seek to remove Catholicism from our homes, our schools, our place of work, society in general.

Catholics must have the conviction to stand up for the faith, to know the faith, the social teachings and social doctrine of the Church. Many Catholics in Ireland today are Catholic in name only. The command is to “Teach all Nations”.

Just as Blessed Miguel Pro gave his life for the faith in Mexico, Catholics in Ireland have been martyred for the faith also.

Michele Renouf eye-witness report in regard Bishop Richard Williamson appeal

http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php?a=topic&t=15187&f=4&min=60&num=10

This is an eye-witness report by Michele Renouf about the 4th of July appeal of HE Bishop Williamson, as the only British presence:
Williamson-Process: his presence: REGENSBURG 4th JULY 2011
Even having attended the Regensburg Court hearing it is difficult to assess what effect the presence of Bishop Williamson would have been on the useful impact of his case to awaken public awareness – (as I would wish the SSPX to see it!) – the chance to re-institute and focus the minds of 1.1billion RCs plus others worldwide, on the pragmatic warnings in the New Testament, specifically:
1.) about the enslaving power of usury and 'media' bullying over persons and cultural sovereignty:
a: for instance why, in telling parables, Pontius Pilate washes his hands of Jewish Law...due to his fear of organised Jewish subversion against Rome;
b: for instance, why Jesus displays active contempt for the exploitative Temple moneychangers; and
2.) about the ethical incompatibility of the plausibly-argued yet deceptive concept of "Judeo-Christianity".  This hyphenation [Judeo-Christianity] is a swindle, since Judaism is by its nature anti-gentile, while Christianity has been substantially de-Judaised in Classically gentile culture for two millennia.
Oddly enough, I learnt something more about the dilemma of the SSPX on my way, rather than at the court hearing in Regensburg (and that was what I was trying to explain to Sylvia Stolz [German lawyer who was given a three-year prison sentence and debarred from practising law for five years for the reason that she defended ‘too well’ the publisher/revisionist Ernst Zündel in court] when the journalists must have been snapping the photograph they took to use for their piece).  It was this:

As it happened, whilst waiting at Munich airport by the carousel for my luggage to arrive, I noticed someone likewise waiting, sitting nearby reading a Bible.  As I do, I went up to him to enquire if he had heard of the SSPX and what he thought about the persecution of Bishop Williamson who queries modern day Jew-ish accounts of history ... to learn that indeed he himself was one of the SSPX's priestly members!
I then asked if he would be attending the court hearing on the morrow (4th July).  He said he was just going off on holiday, and even so, due to the extremely fragile state of the Society's German sector on this issue – (the mere mention of which, he said, instantly draws forth a deluge to drown any sympathiser) – that in any case he dare not attend without first having asked the Society's permission.  Of course I ventured that he, like the good Bishop, would be acting in the role-model manner of the Society's founder who had to be disobedient in order to be Obedient.
An intellectually objective, steadfastly pleasant man – (even as I complained to him about what I took to be the feeble attitude of the German sector towards supporting the Society's most rigorous Bishop) – he patiently explained their knife-edge position.  On hearing from him how one of the SSPX high schools had been closed down, I asked whether this had occurred before or after the predatory entrapment laid for the Bishop via Swedish TV.  Apparently the high school closure occurred BEFORE.  Ah, then the inevitable pressure to close down the SSPX (because of, no doubt, its adherence to the traditionally inherent warnings about the predatory Talmudic exponents) in Germany did not commence with the anti-Holocaustianity heresy of Bishop Williamson.  This being so, then in the new political arena which suddenly I saw, the Society must not allow itself to believe that it is his "heresy" and not the oxymoronically hyphenated Judeo-Christianity heresy (as ushered in with the Vatican2 fraud) which is the real problem.

In other words the Society's enemies must not be allowed to camouflage what is really going on.  For if the Society is given the misleading signal to believe it is Williamson's Revisionism and not Jewish anti-gentile subversion that is aiming to remove the warning against Talmudic subversion (as in traditional Christian teaching), then the SSPX battle for the disoriented minds of the 1.1 billion RCs will be a dead loss.  ("Saul" not "Paul", as it were, will have triumphed! – and a first opportunity towards building a fearless assertion of Revisionism's right to demand source-criticism without privileged exception would have gone unrisen.)  A very great double pity indeed since at present the SSPX has access to a larger, organised following than has Revisionism.  After all, on this theme of Holocaustianity (which has usurped the spiritual and the historical truth, respectively), both SSPX and Revisionists serve to expose the self-same subversive, swindling influence.

I glimpsed then, what might be a fuller picture of the dilemma and its paradox.  For if Bishop Williamson had decided to come to Regensburg (bringing himself to the fore by attending), we would all stand less of a chance of winning at the end of the day!  The end of the day being ... as it only can be, at this stage, given Occupied German law ... when the public is continually exposed to the argument and maybe begins to wonder at the merits or otherwise of his case.  After all, at this stage there would be no chance given for him to win the Revisionist case!  Sylvia [Stolz] had thought that had the Bishop 'talked', then despite his inevitable imprisonment the public would start doing the talking.  But I did not have the heart to say that, regrettably, no general public or even a suitably outraged international legal community was heard to talk about a young female lawyer's [Sylvia Stolz] imprisonment for simply defending her client "too well".

Having now attended the 4th of July hearing, I have high hopes that we can look forward, at this stage, to a certain reduction of the fear barrier in our de-conditioning of public opinion ... now that the case has "a Dr Schaller" [he took over from Sylvia Stolz the defence of the publisher/revisionist Ernst Zündel] for a lawyer in Professor Dr Weiler and his son. Together they act in a similar way, aiming simply to undermine the indictment by adhering strictly to a legalese strategy (rather than fighting for morality in law or for the application of the forensic norms of the Revisionist method).  I mean, Attorney Professor Weiler will have tried to enter all evidence he can (all of which must be in at this closing stage) before taking the case up to the next two 'higher' legal stages ... which hopefully the public will get to hear about!  That is what the Predator always dreads and at which point he generally backs down (such as in the Töben extradition case when the Crown Prosecution – acting on behalf of the German state – lost the initial stage, and then withdrew their Appeal rather than risk the case being openly dissected in our Parliament.)

Once Professor Weiler wins (as he can) by legalese methods and the Bishop is acquitted of "intention" to break "German law" which he clearly did not have - (since he was tricked at the end of a lengthy interview into giving those six minutes, unrelated to the supposed theme, but which were the main reason why the journalists had been commissioned to use as an attack on the SSPX) - then the Society's gullible leader and its subversive Judaic Predator will have only jelly to stand on when trying to nail the blame for SSPX closures in Germany on Williamson ( rather than recognise that it is the Predator's mission to close down the SSPX because of its faithfulness to the last vestige of pragmatic usefulness in the New Testament which is its warnings about Judaic behaviour ).  This is one reason why it would be important for the German court to see the full footage of the interview, but the judges refused to subpoena this from the Swedish broadcasters, or to require the testimony of the Swedish journalists, if necessary by conference video link.  This refusal to set the Bishop's six-minute "Holocaust" heresy comments in their original context may be a basis for later appeals in the higher courts – which could overturn the Bishop's persecution by ruling that judges in the lower courts had erred.

In sum:  An apt stage-set sign of this religious heresy trial on the wall in the Regensburg Courtroom is its fractured Cross. Sculpted out of two metal bars bent and disconnected into an inverted 'L' and an up-sidedown 'L', this ineffectual Crucifix oversaw the usual sixty attendees ( comprising press and public, with briefly three TV crews ) plus judiciary, and said it all!  However, with the next court hearing of the British Bishop's case to be held in Nuremberg, this promises to re-open a can of worms (vigorous in claiming, as did five US judges in 1946, that "history goes by evidence not emotion")!
For the RC world at large to see it is because of SSPX's faithfulness to these pragmatic warnings that its existence is being threatened – (eg in England it was denied rights to buy a church property in Manchester) – this alone could be a potent force for reversing Vatican2's post-modernist fuzziness and thus the restitution of the better part of Christian faith which is its anti-Judaic, Buddhist clear-thinking freedom from greed and vanity.  Judaism is ethically incompatible with the inseparable four Classical Virtues and the eight Christian Virtues which, inherently, do not aim like the Judiac Kol Nidre Prayer, for the nullification of oaths and vows to be made in the future, especially with gentiles unwarned nowadays by a fuzzied-down NT!
How keenly I urged that attentive priest at Munich airport to take a chance and tell the SSPX mis-leader Bishop Fellay:
Do not lead like an irresponsibly "nice" mother who only talks to her children about the similarity between dolphins and sharks.
Michele Renouf

Return to ‘Krahgate’

http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php?a=topic&t=15187&f=4&min=60&num=10

And Mr. Krah strikes again! This time against a well-known sedevacantist priest and friend of Archbishop Lefebvre.
Google-Translation from http://www.virgo-maria.org/ (full article available there)

Quote:

Bishop Fellay and Father Schmidberger directly deposit a criminal complaint against Father Schoonbroodt before the Public Prosecutor of the Belgians
Since June 21, 2011, the Superior of the SSPX and Father Schmidberger filed a criminal complaint with the Public Prosecutor of Belgium, against Father Paul Schoonbroodt, the last "excommunicated" living of holy 1988.
Taking the example of the former "bishop" Conciliar de Liège, the present and former successors of Archbishop Lefebvre hysterically persecute the priest who founded the Caramel of Quiévrain with the help of Archbishop Lefebvre and received the support of Archbishop to build his church, despite the persecution he suffered in the civil part of the Conciliar Church.
And it is as indicated verbally that he has provided the policeman who questioned the abbot Schoonbroodt that:
It shows three charges, provided that the abbot Schoonbroodt could learn about it in the absence of the possibility of access to the written complaint made to him:
The association of St. Pius X Suresnes accused the abbot Schoonbroodt theft of intellectual property owned by the SSPX on public sermons of Archbishop Lefebvre.
Bishop Fellay and Maximilian Krah accuse the abbot Schoonbroodt libel for referring to the association's financial Bishop and business lawyer in the joint management of several investment companies.
Bishop Fellay and Maximilian Krah also accuse the abbot Schoonbroodt of racism and xenophobia.
Faced with these startling accusations from the two successors of Archbishop Lefebvre, Father Schoonbroodt made a statement in which he strongly rejects these accusations.
This unprecedented action of Bishop Fellay and Father Schmidberger, justified by their common will to block the release of the full sermons of Archbishop Lefebvre they keep hidden for 20 years, sets out in broad daylight that Bishop Fellay and the Father Schmidberger run now for the Conciliar Church maçonnisée globalized and the apostate priest Ratzinger-Benedict XVI.
And they show publicly their ulterior motives: Bishop Fellay and Father Schmidberger behave in real enemies determined the abbot Schoonbroodt while in the same direction, they seek to curry favor and friendship of Father Ratzinger apostate Benedict XVI. The bishop and the Swiss German priest, his guru, have clearly chosen their side: that of the Conciliar Church globalized Freemasonry and rejection of the battle of Archbishop Lefebvre against this apostate church Conciliar to preserve the Catholic priesthood sacrificial VALID sacramentally.

Well, that's nearly unbelievable. So to sum up the three "charges" in own words :
(1) Fr. Schoonbroodt publishes sermons of the good Archbishop Lefebvre and because of this he's now persecuted by the "digital content industry" in Menzingen.
(2) Fr. Schoonbroodt published the French translation of the famous Krahgate, which unmasks the Zionist Krah and his helpers, and is persecuted because of this.
(3) Fr. Schoonbroodt is persecuted because of an alleged "racism" and "xenophobia". Well, there's the usual Jewish globalist agenda again which brainwashes the west since decades. This one's not worth one single comment.
So Bp. Fellay, Fr. Schmidberger and their Zionist bloodhound Krah now use the anti-christian, communist EU states in order to persecute the old Fr. Schoonbroodt.
The official SSPX leadership persecutes the propagation of Archbishop Lefebvre's words. What we heard as theoretical talking so far we've got now in cold print  because of the "case Schoonbroodt".
How many souls converted to the holy roman-catholic Church because of the intense word of Archbishop Lefebvre? I personally know several of them and they're the most faithful catholics I know. The pseudo followers of the Archbishop however dare to choke off his important words which are just a tool of Good.
I think it's just to say that they're out of their little minds because they do so and because they think they could ally with the anti-christian European states in order to reach their ignoble goals.
It's an act against God to hinder the free publication of the important words of the Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. There's no "copyright" for these words -- God alone owns them! So it's a treachery against God and his servant Archbishop Lefebvre. For sure this won't go unpunished.
Obviously as a punishment for their unfaithfulness they've already lost all judgement. We see it now and we already saw it when Bp. Fellay, Fr. Pfluger and Fr. Schmidberger publicly defamed Bishop Williamson beginning with January 2009.
This will soon drop back on them because the very same anti-christian states which they allied and now again ally with will persecute any christian and in particular any cleric. So will they join Bishop Williamson's exile? Hardly, because what my local SSPX priests who know that Menzingen, Jaidhof and Stuttgart are living in a dreamland, tell me: "When the soon to come persecution of Christians starts we priest will be killed first..."
Whilst I don't overall agree with www.virgo-maria.org , I can repeat what a trustfully SSPX priest knowing him told me: Fr. Schoonbroodt is a devout catholic priest who follows Archbishop Lefebvre. The legal actions against him by Bp. Fellay and Fr. Schmidberger, executed by their Zionist Krah, are unjust.
Concerning the famous Krahgate:
The English version is still online: krahgatefile.blogspot.com
Also the German translation still is: krahgate.blogspot.com
Better save them locally before they're being shot down. As Kreuznet proves, Krah observes any Krahgate publications and also this forum. :-)

An Interesting Document on TFP, Letter from Bishop de Castro Mayer

http://z10.invisionfree.com/Ignis_Ardens/index.php?showtopic=733

This letter was published in the Campos daily, La Folha de Manhà in 1991; the original text, however, is dated 1984, two years after Bishop de Castro Mayer's break with TFP. It appeared in Le Sel de la Terre, [no. 28, Spring 1999], in an article entitled, "Documents sur la T.F.P".
Dear XXXXX,
I owe a response to your grieving letter of September 24, which, as the postmark indicates, you sent me on September 25.
In this case, I can only offer the sole advice: pray, pray much, above all the Rosary or at least the five decades of the Rosary, asking the Virgin Mother, Mediatrix of all graces, to enlighten your son and make him see that TFP is an heretical sect because, in fact, although they do not say or write it, TFP lives and behaves in accord with a principle which fundamentally undermines the truth of Christianity, that is, of the Catholic Church.
In fact, it is de fide that Jesus Christ founded His Church------destined to maintain on earth the true worship of God and to lead souls toward eternal salvation---as an unequal society, composed of two classes: one which governs, teaches and sanctifies, composed of members of the clergy, and the other---the faithful---who receive the teaching, are governed and sanctified. This is a de fide dogma.
St. Pius X wrote that the Church is, in its very nature, an unequal society, meaning that it comprises two orders of persons: shepherds and flocks, those who belong to the various ranks of the Hierarachy and the faithful multitude. These two orders are so completely distinct that the Hierarchy alone has the right and authority to guide and govern the members to the Church's ends, while the duty of the faithful is that of allowing themselves to be governed and to obediently follow the way given by the governing class (The Encyclical, "Vehementer", February 11, 1906) [7].
And the entire history of the Church, as can be seen in the New Testament, attests to this truth as a fundamental dogma of the Church's constitution. It was to the Apostles only that Jesus said: “Go and teach all nations”. Too, the Acts of the Apostles show us the life of the Church in the times following Jesus Christ. Because of this, it is an heretical subversion to habitually follow a lay person, ---therefore, not a member of the Hierarchy--- as the spokesman of orthodoxy. Thus, they do not look to what the Church says, what the Bishops say, rather what this or that one says.... Nor does it end there: this attitude------even if not openly avowed---actually positions the "leader" as the arbiter of orthodoxy, and is accompanied by a subtle but real mistrust of the hierarchy and of the clergy in general.

There is a visceral anticlericalism in TFP: everything that comes from the clergy is prejudicially received. Basically, it holds that all priests are ignorant, not very zealous or interesting, and have other such qualities. Well, then, keeping in mind the divine Constitution of the Church which was instituted by Jesus Christ, TFP's habitual anti-clericalism, latent, makes it an heretical sect, and therefore, as I have said, is animated by a principle contrary to the dogma established by Jesus Christ in the constitution of His Church.
Nevertheless, TFP had a healthy beginning. There was a certain evolution of the apostolate carried out by the bi-weekly newspaper of the Marian Congregation of St. Cecelia, titled, O Legionario. As a serious and well intentioned movement, it sought to strengthen the intellectual and religious formation of the members of that Congregation and, consequently, of the bi-weekly’s readers. It was influential throughout Brazil. That was the era of [its] obedience to Monsignors Duarte and Leme. I accompanied and approved its apostolate, also when it began to stray into an anticlerical spirit, which began by its consolidating its position and then reversing it by putting the clergy in tow behind a charismatic layman, with his monopoly on orthodoxy. Perhaps I gave it support beyond a licit point. I retracted it only when it became clear to me that my warnings were not being taken into consideration. They had become useless.

It is just to observe that the straying of certain members of the hierarchy, ....explains the “TFPistas'" scandal, but it doesn't justify the positions they came to take. Even less so, those of their leader, Plinio.
At this time, as I said at the beginning of this letter, the remedy is prayer. First, because without prayer nothing is obtained: “Ask,“ Our Lord says, “and you shall receive.” It is necessary to pray, because charismatic fervor produces a certain fanaticism: individuals become incapable of seeing objective reality, of perceiving even fundamental errors, because of this inversion of following a lay person instead of the legitimate Shepherds of the Holy Church. So much moreso when, as I have observed, members of the Hierarchy unfortunately and frequently utter words and take positions which any Catholic can see are dissonant from doctrine and from the guidance of the Church of the ages.....
I ask Our Lord that he grant you, and your entire family, a holy and happy Christmas and many years filled with God's grace.
I ask that you pray for me, Servant in Christ-Jesus,

Antonio de Castro Mayer, Bishop Emeritus of Campos

Child Sexual Abuse Within The Catholic Church, In Perspective

Woe to the World because of Scandal
Child Sexual Abuse Within The Catholic Church: In Perspective

Monsignor Says Harm of Abuse Wasn't Recognized reads the headline of a quite incredible article published in the Boston Globe, of 23rd February, 2004. Monsignor Richard Sniezyk reportedly told the newspaper "that as a seminarian and then a young priest... he heard of priests who had sex with young men, but 'no one thought much about it' because priests didn't recognise how mentally and emotionally damaging their behaviour was... 'It was that era of the 60's - most of it took place from the mid-'60's to the early '80's - and the whole atmosphere out there was, it was OK, it was OK to do'."
Perhaps the most astonishing thing that is apparent from the testimony of Monsignor Sniezyk is the total lack of recognition of sin that he implies was widespread in seminaries and amongst those in charge of forming future priests during the Conciliar and post-Conciliar period.

This lack of the Faith was also admitted by the pope whilst reflecting upon the causes of the scandal in his Pastoral Letter to the Catholics of Ireland in March of this year. His Holiness wrote that:
"All too often, the sacramental and devotional practices that sustain faith and enable it to grow, such as frequent confession, daily prayer and annual retreats, were neglected. Significant too was the tendency during this period, also on the part of priests and religious, to adopt ways of thinking and assessing secular realities without sufficient reference to the Gospel... Certainly, among the contributing factors we can include: inadequate procedures for determining the suitability of candidates for the priesthood and the religious life; insufficient human, moral, intellectual and spiritual formation in seminaries and novitiates; a tendency in society to favour the clergy and other authority figures; and a misplaced concern for the reputation of the Church and the avoidance of scandal, resulting in failure to apply existing canonical penalties..."
To the faithful of Ireland he wrote that “I can only share in the dismay and the sense of betrayal that so many of you have experienced on learning of these sinful and criminal acts and the way Church authorities in Ireland dealth with them.”
To the Irish bishops he wrote that “It cannot be denied that some of you and your predecessors failed, at times grievously, to apply the long-established norms of canon law to the crime of child abuse”

Even though the enabling of such an enormous scandal is very easily traced back to the Liberal poison given sanction within the Catholic world by various documents of the Second Vatican Council, the pope makes an attempt to excuse the Liberal Council, to excuse the Liberal prelates and periti who are clearly responsible for the ambiguous documents that seek to level the Church to the ideas and mentality of a fallen world, and to excuse the Liberal prelates consequently formed by its poisoned teaching.
The attempt by Pope Benedict XVI to insulate and protect the Council from its fundamental connection to the scandal falls flat. For in the same Letter he writes that: "... the Second Vatican Council was sometimes misinterpreted..." Yet, in the same breath whilst trying to excuse, he inadvertently admits to the built-in ambiguity, and therefore extremely pernicious fault, of the Council by adding that "it was far from easy to know how best to implement it."
The confusion, ambiguity and liberalising mentality launched upon the Catholic world by the Second Vatican Council has clearly facilitated and enabled clerical child sexual abuse, the scandal of which has rocked the Church, and provided Her enemies with the opportunity to produce an avalanche of lies and slanders against Her.

Homosexual Infiltration of the Clergy
At a press conference held in Santiago, Chile, on 12th April, 2010, Cardinal Bertone, the Vatican Secretary of State, confirmed that the clerical child sexual abuse scandal is one of "a relationship between paedophilia and homosexuality." He further noted that "there is much documentation" that proves the truth of the statement.

That the problem of sexual abuse within the Catholic Church is largely and essentially a problem of homosexuals targeting the priesthood and religious life appears to have been recognised by the Vatican for many years. In 2005 the Congregation for Catholic Education issued instructions, with the pope's sanction, that forbade admittance to the seminary or to Holy Orders to "those who practise homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called 'gay culture'."
It was not the first such instruction. As far back as 2nd February, 1961, The Sacred Congregation for Religious issued an official document entitled Careful Selection and Training of Candidates for the States of Perfection and Sacred Orders. In it we read that: "Advancement to religious vows and ordination should be barred to those who are afflicted with evil tendencies to homosexuality or pederasty, since for them the common life and the priestly ministry would constitute serious dangers."
After queries concerning the authority and scope of the 2005 document, Instruction Concerning the Criteria for the Discernment of Vocation with Regard to Persons with Homosexual Tendencies in View of their Admission to the Seminary and to Holy Orders, had been received by the Vatican, Cardinal Bertone issued in May, 2008, a written response, Rescriptum ex audientia, wherein the Vatican Secretary of State confirmed that the norms established in the 2005 document were of universal nature and applied to all houses of formation within the Catholic Church.

In a recent document produced for Human Life International, Homosexuality and the Church Crisis, the author, Brian Clowes, draws upon the published academic literature to prove conclusively that the problem of child sexual abuse within the Catholic Church is essentially a problem of homosexuals being admitted to the clerical or religious state.
Citing official statistics published in the USA Clowes shows that "In the population of priests who sexually abuse minors, six in seven molest boys". This figure, which equates to 86% of clerical sexual abuse being homosexual, compares starkly to the much smaller prevalence of homosexual abuse within American society as whole. He writes that: "... in the general population of males who sexually abuse minors, only one in seven molest boys".

Clowes then continues to prove from a number of sources that the Church has been specifically targeted for infiltration by predatory homosexuals.
"One of the 'articles of faith' of the 'gay rights' movement is that ten percent of any population is homosexual. In fact, the numbers are much smaller. There have been a number of major studies gauging the percentage of homosexuals in the general population. The aggregated results of these studies surveyed more than 218,000 men in several countries and show that only 2.6 percent of the male population has ever had a homosexual experience in their lives [for a list of these studies, see Brian W. Clowes and David L. Sonnier. "Child Molestation by Homosexuals and Hetrosexuals", Homiletic and Pastoral Review, May 2005, pp. 44-54]...

... Many experts have claimed that there is a much higher percentage of homosexuals in the priesthood than there is in the general population. Let us assume for a moment that the concentration of male homosexuals in the priesthood is four times greater than it is in the general population - about ten percent.
If we assume this number is correct... we find that a homosexual priest is... 52 times more likely to molest a child than a heterosexual priest.
If we use the more reasonable assumption that five percent of all priests are homosexual (still about twice the average in the general population), we see that a homosexual priest is... 110 times more likely to molest a child than a heterosexual priest".

That the Church has been specifically targeted for infiltration by practising sodomites should come as no surprise. She is not alone in having to face and deal with this daunting problem. It is well enough known that homosexual paedophiles will attempt to target any vocation or institution that will bring them into contact with minors, especially if the vocation or institution provides them with nominal respectability and position of authority over children.

Clowes cites J. Dressler, Gay Teachers: a Disesteemed Minority in an Overly Esteemed Profession, Ruthers/Camden Law Journal, 1978, 9(3), pp. 399-445, to prove the point. Commenting upon the data recorded in this paper that was published in the academic literature Clowes writes that:
"... homosexual teachers have been involved in a hugely disproportionate number of all recorded cases of teacher/pupil sex. A nationwide survey of school principals showed that they received 13 times as many complaints about homosexuals sexually molesting students than they did about heterosexuals molesting students.
Other studies have shown that homosexual teachers are from 90 to 100 times more likely to molest students than hetrosexual teachers".

To prove the point beyond any doubt Clowes then quotes from several leading homosexual organisations and activists who appear happy to hang themselves. Citing No Place for Homo-Homophobia, San Francisco Sentinel, 26th March 1992, he writes, for example that:
"In an editorial in the San Francisco Sentinel, a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists' Association claimed that:
'The love between men and boys is at the foundation of homosexuality. For the gay community to imply that boy-love is not homosexual love is ridiculous. We must not be seduced into believing misinformation from the press and the government. Child molesting does occur, but there are also positive sexual relations. And we need to support the men and the boys in those relationships'."

Sick and perverted as the statement above is it nevertheless shows very clearly that sexual predation of homosexual men upon boys is recognised by homosexuals themselves.

The Traditional Attitude of the Church
The problem of homosexual activity and child sexual abuse is not new, not even within the Church, but is a consequence of man's fallen nature and his all-too commonplace co-operation with temptations encouraged by devils. Such has always been recognised by the Church. And, as every Catholic knows full well the Church has always supplied the spiritual remedies with which to successfully combat any temptation to sin. She has also always supplied appropriate ecclesiastical penalties to discourage such acts and help resist temptations from Hell.
A profound difference is to be found by comparing the traditional attitude of the Church and Her enforcement of ecclesiastical penalties to that of Her pale, sickly, and virtually unrecogniseable modern reflection that is reluctant to abide by or enforce the instructions of Canon Law.

At the beginning of the fourth century the Council of Elvira established that stupratores puerorum, corrupters of boys, should be excluded from Holy Communion even at the moment of death.
In the twelfth century we find Lateran Council III decreeing that "Anyone caught in the practice of the sin against nature, on account of which the wrath of God was unleashed upon the children of disobedience (Eph. 5:6), if he is a cleric, let him be demoted from his state and kept in reclusion in a monastery to do penance; if he is a layman, let him be excommunicated and kept rigorously distant from the communion of the faithful.”

Moving further through time towards the present we find that Pope Saint Pius V in the sixteenth century ordered that clerical sodomites were to be stripped of their ecclesiastical dignity and handed over to the Secular Arm of the Two Swords to be burnt at the stake. "If someone commits that nefarious crime against nature that caused divine wrath to be unleashed against the children of iniquity, he will be given over to the secular arm for punishment; and if he is a cleric, he will be subject to analogous punishment after having been stripped of all his degrees" (Cum Primum, 1566).

And also the Fifth Lateran Council decreed that "Therefore, wishing to pursue with the greatest rigor that which We have decreed since the beginning of Our Pontificate, We establish that any priest or member of the clergy, either secular or regular, who commits such an execrable crime, by force of the present law be deprived of every clerical privilege, of every post, dignity and ecclesiastical benefit, and having been degraded by an ecclesiastical judge, be immediately delivered to the secular authority to be executed as mandated by law, according to the appropriate punishment for laymen plunged in this abyss.”

Arriving at the twentieth century we find that the 1917 Code of Canon Law stated that "So far as laymen are concerned, the sin of sodomy is punished ipso facto with the pain of infamy and other sanctions to be applied according to the prudent judgment of the bishop depending on the gravity of each case (Can. 2357). As for ecclesiastics and religious, if they are clerici minoris [of a degree lower than deacon], let them be punished with various measures, proportional to the gravity of the fault, that can even include dismissal from the clerical state (Can. 2358); if they are clerici maiores [deacons, priests or bishops], let them ‘be declared infamous and suspended from every post, benefit, dignity, deprived of their eventual stipend and, in the gravest cases, let them be deposed’." (Can. 2359).

The 1983 Code of Canon Law that is currently in force along with the motu proprio of 30th April, 2001, Sacramentorum sanctitatis tutela, also makes clear, according to the recent Vatican Guide to Understanding Basic CDF Procedures Concerning Sexual Abuse Allegations, that "civil law concerning reporting of crimes to the appropriate authorities should always be followed" and that "should the cleric be judged guilty" in ecclesiastical trial "both judicial and administrative penal processes can condemn a cleric to a number of canonical penalties, the most serious of which is dismissal from the clerical state."
Clearly the problem is not that provisions do not exist within the Law of the Church to deal with such vile crimes, even if those modern provisions within Church and State are not as strident and effective as in times before, but that liberal churchmen follow liberal society in their contempt for Moral Law and their love for modern liberal pseudo-science such as psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

The Actual Statistics
Contrary to the wild and malicious propaganda regularly disseminated by the mass media, academic research that has been conducted into the prevalence of child sexual abuse within the Church paints a very different picture.
The available data shows that even with the widespread and destructive process of liberalisation that has wrought havoc and brought the Church Militant to its knees, child sexual abuse within diocesan and religious structures is still a rare phenomenon compared to its prevalence within secular society. Data gathered from different countries appears to show a remarkably similar pattern.

USA
The John Jay College of Criminal Justice was commissioned by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to investigate and produce an independent report which was published in 2004. Entitled The Nature and Scope of the Problem of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Catholic Priests and Deacons in the United States the report recorded that over a 42 year period 10,667 allegations of child sexual abuse in US diocesan structures were made. 81% of this sexual abuse was homosexual abuse.

Approximately one quarter of the population of the USA is Catholic; that is seventy million people. If the reasonable assumption is made that half of the Catholic population passed through childhood during this 42 year period then the prevalence of child abuse suffered by Catholic children within diocesan structures in the USA is 0.03%. In other words of every ten thousand Catholic children in the USA only three suffer sexual abuse within the environment of the Catholic Church.

By contrast, Rind et al, 1998, A Meta-Analytic Examination of Assumed Properties of Child Sexual Abuse Using College Samples, published in Psychological Bulletin 124: pp. 22-53, collated data published in 23 previous academic studies and found an average prevalence of child sexual abuse throughout the USA of nearly 23%. In other words of every ten thousand children in the USA an incredible two thousand and three hundred suffer sexual abuse within a non-Catholic environment.

Charol Shakeshaft, Educator Sexual Misconduct: A Synthesis of the Literature, published by the US Department of Education in 2004, recorded that 9.6% of American children suffer from sexual abuse in secular schools. In other words of every ten thousand American children nine hundred and sixty suffer sexual abuse within the environment of school.

In 2003 The Report of The Attorney General of Massachusetts into child sexual abuse within the Archdiocese of Boston recorded that since 1940, a 63 year period, allegations were made against 250 priests and lay diocesan staff concerning a total of 789 children. The Archdiocese of Boston has a Catholic population of more than two million souls. If the assumption is made that 80% of these two million Catholic souls passed through their childhood years during this 63 year period we arrive at a 0.05% prevalence rate of sexual abuse. In other words of every ten thousand Catholic children just five suffer sexual abuse within the environment of the Archdiocese of Boston.

The reader should bear such official statistics in mind whilst reflecting upon the insanely vicious, and entirely typical, anti-Catholic commentary supplied in the Introduction to his report by the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Thomas F. Reilly. He writes of "The widespread sexual abuse of children within the Archdiocese", of "this widespread assault on children", and of "the massive and prolonged mistreatment of children by priests assigned to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston".
And the sheeple, in their mass-media-induced stupefaction, believe it!

IRELAND

Many readers will be far more familiar with the furious and vicious wall-to-wall coverage of allegedly widespread clerical and religious child abuse in Ireland.
The data contained in the 2009 final report of the government-directed The Commission to Enquire Into Child Abuse records that over a 34 year period more than 170,000 children passed through Industrial and Reformatory Schools operated by the Catholic Church. Of this number a total of 369 people, 242 males and 127 females, made complaint to the Irish Child Abuse Commission during its nine-year investigation that they had suffered sexual abuse whilst at one of these institutions. The rate of prevalence is 0.2%. In other words of every ten thousand children that lived in an Industrial or Reformatory School just twenty allege having suffered sexual abuse.

Furthermore, of the accused less than half of the alleged perpetrators were actually Catholic priests or religious. 55% of those accused of having carried out sexual abuse were visiting professionals, hired staff, visiting family members or even other pupils. 91% of the sexual abuse carried out by clerics or religious was homosexual abuse.

Other official Irish investigations show similar data. The government-directed Dublin Archdiocese Commission of Investigation Report, published in 2009, records that 320 people complained of suffering abuse between 1975 and 2004. A further 130 complaints were received after the Commission's remit had ended giving a total of 450 allegations against 102 priests over a 29 year period. According to the Archdiocese of Dublin more than one million Catholics fall under its jurisdiction. If the assumption is made that over this 29 year period one-quarter of these million souls passed through their childhood years then the prevalence rate of abuse is 0.18%. If the assumption is made that a greater number, one-third, of these million souls passed through their childhood years during that period the rate of prevalence falls to 0.13%. In other words even the less reasonable assumption shows that of every ten thousand children that pass through structures belonging to the Archdiocese of Dublin just eighteen suffer sexual abuse.

The Ferns Report, 2005, another government-directed enquiry, records that between 1966 and 2005, a 39 year period, 100 allegations of child abuse were made against 21 priests in Diocese of Ferns. According to the Diocese of Ferns the Catholic population of the Diocese stood at 102,000 souls in 2006. If the assumption is made that half the Catholic population of Ferns passed through their childhood years during this 39 year period the rate of prevalence is 0.19. In other words of every ten thousand children in the Diocese of Ferns just nineteen allege that they suffer sexual abuse within the diocesan structure.

Twenty children in every ten thousand being abused by priests or religious is, needless to say, a score too many. But when these figures are compared to the prevalence of child sex abuse in Liberal secular Irish society the horrifying truth becomes clear once again.

A study conducted by McGee et al, 2003, The SAVI Report: Sexual Abuse and Violence in Ireland, published by the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, reports that the prevalence of child sexual abuse in Ireland is recorded as 30.4% for girls and 23.6% for boys. In other words McGee et al claim that of every ten thousand Irish children an average of two-thousand and seven-hundred (27%) suffer sexual abuse in secular society.
Cawson et al, 2000, Child Maltreatment in the United Kingdom: A Study of the Prevalence of Child Abuse and Neglect, London, NSPCC, record on page 85 that in Great Britain and the north-east of Ireland 16% of children suffer sexual abuse; in other words of every ten thousand children in the United Kingdom one thousand and six hundred suffer sexual abuse.

Clearly, studies conducted and published in the academic literature prove beyond any doubt that child sexual abuse in the Catholic Church is extremely rare in comparison to its prevalence within liberal secular society; a society whose propagandists attempt to turn black into white and falsely accuse the Church of being guilty of the very crimes that truly are widespread, and several orders of magnitude more common, within the sick and dying nightmare of a world that they advocate.

Successful Pro-Life Picket in Limerick

Thought and Action was represented at a successful pro-life picket at the Family Planning clinic in Limerick earlier today. Earlier, a pro-life display was shown on O’ Connell Street. This was part of the annual Youth Defence roadshow. There was a fantastic response from those passing on the street. The evening concluded with a decade of the rosary being said at the Family Planning Clinic. Well done to the YD organisers.

Update on Bishop Richard Williamson SSPX

It would be great if Bishop Williamson made a fresh appeal in the wake of having his “conviction” upheld and his fine lowered. His Lordship has our full support and our prayers.

“The fine was lowered to 6,500 Euros from the original 10,000 Euros:
"The Regensburg appeals court on Monday confirmed the 2010 incitement conviction of Bishop Richard Williamson, though it lowered his punishment to a fine of €6,500 ($9,136)from the original €10,000, according to DAPD news agency."

Benedict’s Thinking I

An excellent weekly column here from Bishop Richard Williamson SSPX.
