I didn’t come to the Traditional Catholic movement until 1996, long after Archbishop Lefebvre had passed from this world to the next. But, I, like any honest Traditional Catholic, know that without him, there would likely be many fewer Traditional Masses throughout the world. Some say he went too far, some say he didn’t go far enough, but I am grateful for what he did do. What Traditional Catholics need to realize is that the situation is now quite different for Catholics than it was in 1991, when the Archbishop died. The question is not “what the Archbishop/SSPX would do” but rather, “what is the reality of the situation?”
Bishop Fellay recently announced the end of the “negotiations” with the Roman authorities. He seems disappointed, but can he really have expected otherwise? Let us review some facts. The Society of St. Pius X takes dispute with Vatican II. The Roman authorities consider this to be an ecumenical council, much like Nicea, Trent, and Vatican I. Its teachings and spirit have permeated the structures of the Catholic Church since 1962 and have destroyed the faith of millions. The Society of St. Pius X adopts a hybrid position in regards to this Council: their bishops and priests and vast majority of the faithful who attend their chapels consider Vatican II to be an “optional” or “questionable” council. They cite terms like “pastoral” in order to make their case, while ignoring that every Vatican II document was signed by Paul VI as, “We, too, by the Apostolic Authority conferred on us by Christ, join with the venerable fathers in approving, decreeing, and establishing these things in the Holy Spirit, and we direct that what has thus been enacted in synod [council] be published to God’s glory…(signed) I, Paul, Bishop of the Catholic Church.”
I once made this point to a friend outside of Mass, asking him by what authority he, or any SSPX bishop or priest, questioned the authority of Vatican II. “It goes against Tradition,” he said. “Okay, and who made the Society of St Pius X the arbiter of ‘Tradition’? Where can I find in my catechism that if a council is dubious, a religious congregation in Switzerland is to be my guide?” You can imagine I got no answer.
Additionally, what started as a simple fact-finding mission, an interview with Bishop Tissier de Mallerais nearly 5 years ago now, turned into an avocation for me, and apart from hearing Bishop Tissier say that Vatican II must be “erased” from Church history, I’ve also heard Bishop Williamson tell me that Vatican II is a “poisoned cake” and must be “discarded entirely.” Bishop de Galerreta has once referred, in a sermon he gave at a Winona ordination, to the last 20 years as the “institutionalization of the Revolution,” implying that Vatican II was a revolution. Bishop Fellay and the vast majority of Society priests and faithful will often refer to the Conciliar religion as a “new religion” which is manifestly clear, as this new religion has new sacraments, new beliefs, and new behavior. When I ask the question, “How can JPII/Benedict XVI be heads of a ‘new religion’ as well as heads of the Catholic Church?” the silence I receive is indicative of two things: 1) there is a failure to think through the implications of such rhetoric as “new religion” and that 2) the intellectual conclusions of calling it a “new religion” are too horrifying to even discuss.
So, the Society considers Vatican II to be suspect AND Benedict XVI to be a legitimate Pope. There is no Catholic teaching anywhere on earth that makes provision for a Swiss (or any) congregation to be the arbiter of “Tradition” nor is there an explanation anywhere as to how the Supreme Head of the Church on earth, the Vicar of Christ, can be the head of a “new religion” other than the Catholic Church. But, this is the explanation for why there were “negotiations” in the first place. If you believe that you are holding the Catholic Faith, and that all that remains is for you to show the wayward Pope and the other billions of Catholics that they, indeed, are the ones who are lost, then of course you will, like naïfs and ingénues, show up in Rome for “negotiations.” Yet, even this was simply an imitation of the Archbishop’s actions, instead of learning from his mistakes. Countless times the Archbishop went “to Rome” and countless times he was disappointed. Formed in the Roman diplomatic tradition, Archbishop Lefebvre was always looking for one more angle with which to treat with Rome, instead of recognizing that at some point, his tenuous holding position could have only one real conclusion – that the men who let the “smoke of satan” into the Church were the Churchmen themselves. This is why the Archbishop ordained known sedevacantists and had sedevacantist professors at Econe for years: he knew it was a future possibility.
The negotiations failed not because the SSPX was unconvincing or because Bishop de Galerreta was rude, or as some supremely ignorant laymen postulate, because Bishop Williamson hates Jews (or women, or children, or dwarfs too perhaps), but because, as Bishop Fellay seems surprised to learn, they believe in a DIFFERENT RELIGION than the Society holds. The question then devolves to the Society: do we hold the Catholic Faith? If we do, then those in possession of the Catholic instruments of authority are usurpers, as the Arians were during the time of St. Athanasius and St. Eusebius. If those in the Society dare to say that they don’t have the Catholic Faith, and that wearing a white cassock makes you right (even though antipopes have worn the white cassock, reigned from Rome, etc.), then they should humbly, on their knees, seek suppliance, forgiveness, and reintegration into the Catholic Church.
The negotiations failed because the Society of St Pius X has a distorted ecclesiology, and the chickens finally came home to roost. What remains to be seen is what will happen now. For those of us who have watched the SSPX for years, the predictable will likely happen: the SSPX will crawl back into the bunker, after some time in the sunshine after the (ironically more restrictive) Motu Proprio of Benedict XVI and the propagation of the Orwellian phrase "Extraordinary Form." There will be appeals to “tradition” and “the Archbishop” and all that, and no honest confrontation of what is going on.
The negotiations failed because the Conciliar Church, as headed by Paul VI, JPI and JPII, and now Benedict XVI, are bent on creating a One World Religion. All the Archbishop did in 1986 when Assisi I happened was make a statement of protest. He never called it what it was: an act of apostasy. Assisi II happened and Bishop Fellay made his necessary noises. And now Assisi III will happen, in the same year that John Paul II was made “Beato.” Yet the Society continues to, in Orwellian fashion, tell us that none of this means anything. It doesn’t matter that the Pope writes books saying that contraception is okay, it doesn’t matter that he prays in mosques or synagogues, it doesn’t matter that he is calling a congress of religions, and it doesn’t matter that he beatified who is potentially the worst Pope (if he was one) in Church history. Nothing matters. He has a white cassock, and as such, HAS to be Pope. The issue of canonizations/beatifications has proven to be a thornier one, as no one really cared when John XXIII was “beatified.”But people know that JPII was notoriously bad – not just for his heresies, but for his conduct. Yet the SSPX and other "recognize and resisters" maintain that canonizations/beatifications are not covered by infallibility – yet the issue of Sainthood/Blessedhood must indeed be covered by the Church’s disciplinary Magisterium. It is not for a congregation, Swiss or otherwise, to dispute who the Church proclaims as worthy of veneration. It is out of order in the organizational sense, and it is completely unfounded in the Catholic sense.
The negotiations failed because the large checks that flow into Menzingen and other Society General Houses around the world would stop if the Society were to ask The Question: Is the Pope Catholic?
As for the faithful, who are struggling to simply get to Mass, say the Rosary, and live a virtuous life, it is a battle entirely out of their control. If the SSPX does one day lose its schizophrenic current ecclesiology, it will either: 1) rejoin the New World Order Church that it was briefly part of in 1970-1971 or 2) realize its own Catholicity and reject the holders of authority in the Church as usurpers. In the first scenario, tens of thousands of faithful will return to garage and hotel Masses, and learn the lesson that St. Augustine drives home in the City of God: nothing on this earth lasts. In the second scenario, tens of thousands of faithful will ask the question in prayer that has been too horrific for the SSPX to confront since the Archbishop died: what do I do now? Yet, in both of these scenarios, the faithful will gain, as they will be confronted with the truth. The SSPX’s current position, schizophrenic and distorted, is simply unsustainable, and more importantly, not Catholic.
Again we highlight the unjust imprisonment of Gerry Mc Geough, and call for his release from Maghaberry prison. Please see the following information

Maghaberry prisoners injured in last night's lockdown.
Gerry called this morning to advise that during last night's physically enforced lockdown, several prisoners wound up with broken arms, legs and noses, beat down by close to 50 prison guards with dogs, dressed in full riot gear, masks, and batons calling the prisoner's "Fenian bastards" and the situation has seriously worsened at Maghaberry.Although Gerry is not a member of any organization, the prisoners have welcomed Gerry as a 'guest' on the republican wing and they have advised him not to take part in their struggle due to health reasons that could have a negative outcome for Gerry. Since the' dirty protest' by over a dozen prisoners two weeks ago, Gerry's cell is still full of excrement. The prison authorities are planning to continue this brutal 23-24 lockup every night. Gerry said you could hear the Loyalist prisoners cheering on the republican prisoner's as well.
The prison officials are trying to keep the republican prisoners in lockup 23-24 hours a day, which is what has been causing the rioting.

Last night at 7:30pm 40 prison guards dressed in riot gear with dogs, and batons converged on the prison in order to enforce early lock down. Gerry McGeough was forced into his cell and suffered chest pains where he had to use his heart spray. Immediately after, he was removed from his cell and taken to the doctor.
Thought & Action was represented at a pro-life street session in Galway earlier today. Many Catholics today lack the conviction to stand against abortion and contraception, to stand against the enemy and their agenda. Pro-life activists from all walks of life distributed literature for several hours on Shop St. Family and children ought to be at the centre of any healthy society. Any agencies or policy that undermine or destroy family life must be opposed. There was a fantastic response from local people, and there was an obvious love for family and children. Young people were particularly receptive to protecting babies from abortion. The law of God must always be upheld. Fellow Catholics must have the conviction to stand for the truth. Let us recall the words of Pope St. Pius X.
“In these days of social and intellectual anarchy, it must be energetically repeated that one cannot build the earthly city otherwise than as God has built it. Every day our task is to build and rebuild it on its natural divine foundations in the face of the continually renewed attacks of unhealthy utopianism, revolt and defiance of God. Omnia instaurare in Christo.”

ELEISON COMMENTS CCII (May 28, 2001) : MEN'S AUTHORITY
Two young men, uncertain of getting married, begged me the other day to write a manual on how men should be men. Theirs was a real cry of distress : "When should we be nice with women, and when should we be firm ? We just don't know any longer !" Yesteryear the answer to that question was common sense for many a man, but authority today has been so widely undermined by liberal propaganda that the problem of exercising it in marriage may be one reason why now numbers of young folk prefer simply to live together rather than get married. What follows is not a manual, but it may at least point our two musketeers in the right direction.
St. Paul says : "I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ of whom all paternity in heaven and earth is named" (Eph. III, 14,15). In other words all fatherhood or authority amongst God's creatures is modelled upon and derives from the fatherhood and authority of God himself. As Dostoevsky has one of his characters say, "If God does not exist, then I have no business being an army officer." So it stands to reason that if men chase God out of their society, as he is being chased today out of the whole wide world, then all authority is radically undermined. In the individual, reason will be unable to govern the passions, in the family the father will be unable to control his household, and in the State democracy will come to seem the only legitimate form of government.
Now within the family, who, observing daily life, can deny that men are stronger than women in the use of reason, while women are stronger than men in intuition and emotion ? Watch any sitcom if you doubt it. Now feelings have their rightful place in life and they are scorned, like one's wife, at one's peril, but they come and go, they are unstable and as such they are a guide, but not a reliable guide, to action. On the contrary if reason discerns what is objectively true and just, it is stabilized by the fact that objective truth and justice are above any individual or his feelings. Therefore reason may listen to feelings, but it must rule them. That is why men have, as men, a natural authority possessed only exceptionally by women, who have other qualities. That is why the man is naturally the head of the family and home, while the woman is naturally its heart.
But the liberalism which rules the modern world dissolves all sense of objective truth or justice. By so doing it deprives the reason of its object, and of its objective anchor in a reality above and independent of the reasoning subject. Reason being the prerogative of men, liberalism hits the men before it hits the women, whose feminine instincts are not dependent on reason. By the same token liberalism undercuts the authority of men which comes down from conforming to what is above them, ultimately divine Truth and Justice, and it makes all use of authority become arbitrary.
Therefore, young men, in all your dealings with men or women, seek to be true and just, and turn to God for the help necessary to discern truth and justice amidst so much untruth and injustice and arbitrary misuse of authority all around us today. Then act upon what you discern, and you will re-build your manly authority from above, in a world undercutting it from below. In brief, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you" (Mt. VI, 33).
Kyrie eleison.
The United Nations is a rotten Masonic organisation, and who is surprised to see Jeffrey Sachs “alarmed” at the population of Nigeria. When Sachs regards John Maynard Keynes (sodomite) as an “influence” their agenda is well known. Families and Nations must resist the Judeo-Masonic attack at all times. The well funded IFPA in Ireland is working daily against the family and the Nation. They hate family and children.
May 26, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Figures released by the United Nations Population Fund earlier this month projected Nigeria’s population to skyrocket from 160 million this year to 730 million by 2100 - behind only India and China.
In the wake of these seemingly staggering figures, Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, special advisor to the UN Secretary General, expressed his alarm, calling for huge population control methods in the West African country.
“It is not healthy,” Sachs told the AFP new agency. “Nigeria should work towards attaining a maximum of three children per family.”
Head of the Earth Institute and the Millennium Project and author of the popular book “The End of Poverty”, Dr. Sachs has built a legacy for himself as a population control advocate. Recently, the American Life League revealed his concerning connections with the U.S. Round Association for Diocesan Social Action, which includes partnerships with Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Campaign for Human Development, Catholic Relief Services, and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Sachs’ statement was echoed by Isaac Ogo of the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria who noted that, while controlling the country’s population was advisable, convincing Nigerians to reduce their family size would be a difficult task.
According to UN statistics, which have often been shown to be inflated, about 145 women die daily in Nigeria as a result of pregnancy or childbirth.
Yet, Nigerians themselves have argued that controlling their country’s population is not the answer to internal problems, such as maternal and infant health, poverty, and unemployment.
“We Nigerians are rejoicing [in high population projections],” said Chinwuba Iyizoba, an electrical engineer in Enugu, Nigeria. “Africans love children.”
The growing and expanding Nigerian economy, as well as social security depend highly on population growth, adds Iyizoba. “Nigeria and other African countries stand a good chance of becoming world leaders in the coming decades. They will help Europe and the US to fill gaps left by acute shortages of manpower.”
Dr Philip C. Njemanze, chairman of the Global Prolife Alliance (GPA) and for the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) would concur. In a recent press release on the National Health bill, Njemanze decried the push for population control programs.
“In the face of deteriorating healthcare services, unpaid medical personnel, it is shocking that the Ministry of Health would define as national security priority the killing of Nigerian children through abortion and contraception, initiated by the so-called Development Partners - UNFPA, IPPF, IPAS, USAID, WHO, Gates Foundation and all others,” said Njemanze. “These organizations do not see as urgent, the health care needs of the people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Rather, they [prioritize] population control for their own purposes.”“The excuse that population control measures involving use of abortion and contraception may help lower maternal mortality rate is fallacy,” he added, emphasizing that it would only reduce the number of women “called mothers” through “measures that are not acceptable”.
Njemanze noted that throughout history, development has only occurred in countries comprised of at least 300 people per square kilometre. Nigeria, with a population of 110 people per square kilometre, is “grossly under-populated” when compared with Europe (350-550 people sq/km), the U.S. (300-550 people sq/km), and Asia (300-5500 people sq/km).
“The depopulation of Nigeria program by the so-called Development Partners is a sabotage of our National Development and a threat to our National Security,” concluded Njemanze.
As the youth of Spain look beyond Left v Right and seek a society beyond Capitalism and Socialism, the police used violence to remove peaceful protestors in Barcelona.

At least 100 people have been injured after police clashed with demonstrators in Barcelona amid protests against the economic crisis and sky-high jobless rate in Spain.
Policemen swiped at protesters with batons, dragged them on the ground and even fired rubber bullets on Friday as they sought to disperse demonstrators and also dismantle their camp in the city's Catalunya square.
People in general are certainly fed up of politicians and the current political party system and see beyond “their” sham of ‘parliamentary democracy’
http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/portuguese-girl-dies-of-septic-shock-following-ru-486-abortion
LISBON, May 19, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A Portuguese girl who underwent an RU-486 medical abortion died of a severe infection of a type that has previously been linked to use of the drug regimen, the country’s government has said.
The girl’s death was made public by Portuguese junior Health Secretary Eugenia Roccella at the 21st European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, reported ANSAmed last week. The official said the 16-year-old girl succumbed to septic shock caused by Clostridium Sordellii, a bacteria that has killed several women in America as a result of RU-486 use.
According to the abstract presented at the Congress, the girl arrived at a maternity hospital’s emergency room five days after taking the drug regimen, complaining of faintness and cramping. Although at first conscious and having no sign of fever, the girl took a turn for the worse within hours and, despite an emergency hysterectomy, died 18 hours after arriving at the hospital.
The circumstances of the girl’s death are similar to those surrounding the deaths of two U.S. women, as revealed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last year.
“This is the first case in Europe in which the presence of a rare and lethal infection from Clostridium Sordellii has been ascertained,” said Roccella. The Portuguese Ministry of Health, she added, would present the case to European officials and “request further investigation and updates on deaths and complications recorded.”
Despite RU-486’s link to at least eight deaths in America, the U.S. abortion industry has largely resisted FDA guidelines for its use. The National Abortion Federation encourages abortionists to prescribe RU-486 within 63 days of the last menstrual period – an extra two weeks beyond FDA safety guidelines.
Recently, however, some states have begun clamping down on the reckless use of the drug regimen: in Oklahoma last week legislation was signed enforcing the FDA rules, and Texas is considering similar legislation.
A recent Australian study has found evidence that such chemical abortions have a far higher rate of serious complications than surgical abortion.
The figure is probably higher but the Migrant Rights Centre quote the figure of 30,000. These 30,000 “undocumented” workers should be repatriated to their country of origin, and the emphasis on Ireland for the Irish and Irish jobs for Irish workers. Mass-Immigration is of course about cheap foreign labour. Mass-immigration into Ireland needs to be halted and immigrants need to be repatriated back to their country of origin.

Dave Derby – The Sovereign Independent
23rd May 2011
A relatively small town in Co. Monaghan kickstarted the resistance against Irish banksters. In scenes reminiscent of the Mid-1800s engineered Irish famine, bailiffs used heavy-handed tactics to evict Irish citizens from their family-owned business. The local people of Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, were not having a bit of it though!
Friday 20th May over 500 local residents in Carrickmacross turned up en-masse to support Michael and Bridget Quinn in a revolutionary and first-time stand-off against the Rothschild controlled, Inter-Alpha Group AIB Irish Bankster cartel. This is the latest incident of criminal Banksters using heavy handed, intimidatory and feudal methods to fleece property from the Irish people. Only this time the people have finally had enough and have stood up to these criminals, where the “elected” government have failed dismally.
In the days leading up to the forced takeover it had been reported by numerous eye-witness sources that staff members from American security firm K-Tech, who were mandated by local receiver company “Kavanagh Fennell“, were trespassing on Mr Quinns premises - intimidating him in a way which was obviousely designed to cause personal distress and embarrassment. It had also been reported by local residents that a number of his staff were also harrassed by K-Tech staff. According to a number of eye-witness sources, Mr Quinn had been literally followed around by a member of this so-called security firm. Every move Mr Quinn made was monitored by them and there was a member of security staff within just a few feet of him at all times, like a shadow. “Wherever he walked within his own store he was being ‘covered’ by some heavy!” reported a local resident who was shopping in the store during the week. It was highly conspicuous and distressing for locals to witness this atrocity taking place against Mr Quinn before their eyes. Security staff appeared to have had no regard for the personal comfort of shoppers in the store and their presence was highly intimidating for the locals.
I arrived at the tail-end of the event on friday evening and found a number of Garda vehicles, an ambulance, and what appeared to be, locksmiths on his premises. There were a number of placards in the vicinity displaying facts about the banksters, bail-outs and forced corporate takeovers, and how the Quinns were being robbed by the banks – with government support. The community had rallied together to support the Quinns in a unique first-time standoff against fuedal, military style bailiffs, who were attempting to secure for AIB a local business which belonged to the Quinn family for 23 years in Carrickmacross. The store has actually existed for 41 years and the local community have come to regard it as one of Clough Valleys most familiar features, always offering a valuable service to the local residents.
The family owned Quinns Superstore had become a local landmark and is unique in the local services it offers. Locals had come to use the business as a one-stop shop for fuel, groceries and other facilities such as a very popular restaurant. Rather than using corporate multi-national superstores such as Tesco, locals relied on Quinns for reasonable priced groceries and friendly personal service. The Quinn family are well-known pillars of the community, they run the type of family business which is rapidly becoming extinct in Ireland, in favour of Government and Bankster supported foreign corporations.
Locals have decided enough is enough and have pledged their full support to Michael and Bridget Quinn. It seems the only way to combat this government approved brutality toward Irish citizens, in favour of the criminal Banking cartel, is to physically attend these brutal dark-ages-esque evictions in a non-violent but firm way, to show their contempt for the banking cartels and their refusal to yield to these criminals. We need to show these criminals who is really in charge now. Carrickmacross residents have set a precedent which we hope will spread throughout Ireland in this battle with the banksters. Where the government have failed us, the people now need to step in, to protect the good people of Ireland from being fleeced into poverty yet again by a corrupt banking cartel who are currently waging war with the hard-working people of Ireland – with the FULL consent of a spineless and “bought-and-paid-for” Government and the FULL support of the corrupt and equally spineless gardai!
The closure of the Clough Valley Store would represent a massive loss to the local community and would result in even more widespread distrust and contempt for the Irish banking elites and the corrupt Government. It would also pave the way for the corporate multi-nationals to gain a stranglehold on yet another close-knit community in Ireland. Another shattered community.
Therefore This is a call for the people of Ireland to mobilise - in preparation for future feudal takeovers of Irish business.
Please visit http://www.sovereignindependent.com/?p=20450 to learn more details as to what happened to the Quinn family and a brief history of the process by which the AIB were hoping to aquire their business , and how the People of Ireland can move forward and mobilise themselves to combat this government approved corporate takeover of the assets of hard-working Irish families.
We hope that this historic moment will now turn the tide in Ireland, and inspire the people of Ireland to wake up and realise that the corrupt Govenment is not, and has never, looked out for the best interests of its people and never will, while the people lay down and do nothing. The local residents of Clough Valley, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan are living testimony to the willingness of the Irish People to look after their own, to stand up for what they truly believe, and to break out of the fear and stand up to those who wish to impoverish them. We need to keep up the momentum now and show these one-time goliaths who is really in charge… The People of Ireland!
Remember the wise words of Edmund Burke:
“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”
The whole event was audio recorded and a pod-cast is available here:
I would also recommend you download and familiarise yourself with “Blank of Ireland – This Way Out!” By Darrell O’Deaghadh. Which is a PDF downloadable ebook explaining how Banking cartels such as AIB, BOI and other banks can be defeated in their quest to fleece and impoverish the Irish people. This ebook will show you how you can withdraw funding from these criminal financial institutions by way of refusing to pay any more interest and levies to them. Its the only way now. They leave the people of ireland with no other choice. And we need to do it in numbers.
A new forum is available to discuss the latest events of the Quinns:

Shannon Airport in Ireland is a major cog in the wheel of Yankee aggression worldwide. Most American troops who have invaded Iraq have departed through Shannon Airport and has exposed the myth that Ireland is neutral. 4,000 of these soldiers have returned through Shannon in body bags. Thousands more injured. Over a million Iraqi’s are dead.
Barack Obama is currently in Ireland. He is facing re-election in America and his visit to Ireland is to seek an Irish vote in America. Of course American troops pass through Shannon airport in Ireland on route to Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is of course pro-abortion.

ELEISON COMMENTS CCI (May 21, 2011) : TWO REPENTANCES
A reader of "Eleison Comments" asked me several months ago what made the difference between the repentance of Judas Iscariot flinging his 30 pieces of silver at the feet of the Temple authorities (Mt.XXVII,3), and that of Peter weeping bitterly at the crowing of the cock (Mt. XXVI,75). His question is a good excuse to quote pages from The Poem of the Man-God by Maria Valtorta (1897-1961). Our Lord (if it is indeed him - "In things uncertain, liberty") here comments on the vision he has just granted her of the last hours of Judas Iscariot. The Italian text is slightly adapted:--
"Yes, the vision is horrendous, but not useless. Too many people think that what Judas did was not all that grave. Some even go so far as to say that it was meritorious, because without him the Redemption would not have happened and so he was justified in the eyes of God. In truth I tell you that if Hell had not already been in existence, perfectly equipped with torments, it would have been created even more horrendous in eternity for Judas, because amongst damned sinners he is the damnedest of them all, nor will his sentence ever be eased through all eternity.
"It is true that he did show remorse for his betrayal, and it could have saved him, had he turned his remorse into repentance. But he did not want to repent, and so in addition to his first crime of betrayal, on which - such is my loving weakness - I could have had mercy, he went on to blaspheme and to resist every impulse of grace which was pleading with him through each trace and memory of me that in his last desperate chase around Jerusalem he ran into, including the encounter with my Mother and her gentle words.. He resisted everything. He wanted to resist. Just as he had wanted to betray me. As he wanted to curse me. As he wanted to kill himself. Where a man's will is set - that is what counts. For good or ill.
"When somebody falls without really wanting to, I forgive him. Take Peter. He denied me. Why? He could not himself tell exactly why. Was he a coward ? No. My Peter was no coward. In the Garden of Gethsemane he defied the whole pack of Temple guards to cut off Malchus' ear in defence of me, at the risk of being killed himself for doing so. Then he fled. With no set will to do so. Then he denied me three times, but again, with no set will to do so. For the rest of his life he succeeded in staying on the blood-stained way of the Cross, my way, until he died on the cross himself. He succeeded in witnessing to me in grand style until he was killed for his unflinching faith. I defend my Peter. His running away and his denials were the last moments of his human weakness. But the set will of his higher nature was not behind those actions. Weighed down by his human weakness, it was asleep. As soon as it awoke, it did not want to remain in sin, it wanted to be perfect. I immediately forgave him. Judas' will was set in the opposite direction..."
At the end of the Poem of the Man-God Our Lord ( if it is him -I myself believe it is) dictates to Maria Valtorta the seven reasons for his granting this long series of visions of his life to the modern world. The first reason was to make real again in people's minds the Church's basic doctrines, ravaged by modernism. Sounds about right ? The seventh reason was -- "to make known the mystery of Judas", how a soul so highly gifted by God could so fall.
Kyrie eleison.

Thousands of people have taken part in protests across Spain's main cities, defying a government ban on political protest ahead of local elections.
In Madrid, some 25,000 protesters occupied a main square. Others gathered in Barcelona, Valencia and Seville.
The protesters are angry with the government's economic policies and the country's high youth unemployment rate.
Spain's electoral commission had ordered those camped out in Madrid to leave ahead of Sunday's elections.
But, as the ban came into effect at midnight, the crowds started cheering and police did not move in.
The protest began six days ago in Madrid's Puerta del Sol as a spontaneous sit-in by young Spaniards frustrated at 45% youth unemployment.
The crowd camping out in the square overnight grew and the protest has spread to other cities across the country.
Sarah Rainsford in Madrid: "This began as a spontaneous sit-in"
According to Spanish news agency, Efe, a total of some 60,000 protesters has gathered across Spain, in Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao as well as the capital.
The protesters, dubbed "los indignados" [the indignant], are demanding jobs, better living standards, a fairer system of democracy and changes to the Socialist government's austerity plans.
"They want to leave us without public health, without public education, half of our youth is unemployed, they have risen the age of our retirement as well," said protester Natividad Garcia.
"This is an absolute attack on what little state welfare we had."
Protest growing
Another protester said she was taking part because she had no employment prospects despite having a degree.
The Judeo-Masonic enemy are attacking and enslaving the Christian Nations today also. We are Catholic crusaders on a battle field. Others are so indifferent, idle, inactive that they allow the enemy to attack. Our faith may and will lead us to be beaten, mocked, shot and killed. As soldiers of Christ, we are armed with Catholic Social Teaching and the command of Christ to “teach all nations”. These ‘Cristeros’ were true Catholic heroes. Let us continue our fight for the Kingship of Christ over Society.

The NATO military alliance says it has sunk eight warships belonging to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's forces.
The ships were targeted in co-ordinated overnight attacks on the ports of Tripoli, Al Khums and Sirte, the alliance announced on Friday.
The deputy commander of the NATO mission in Libya said the air strikes were needed to protect civilians and NATO forces at sea.Shelling was also heard in the Ghabat al-Qasr neighbourhood of the capital, Tripoli, in the early hours of Friday.
NATO, acting under a UN mandate, has been carrying out air strikes on Libya since Gaddafi used force to put down a revolt inspired by uprisings elsewhere in the Arab world.
In some of the latest strikes, NATO hit Gaddafi's forces around 15km east of the opposition-held town of Zintan in the Western Mountains region. The town and the port city of Misurata have seen some of the heaviest fighting in recent weeks.
Al Jazeera has also confirmed there is heavy fighting on the Tunisia-Libya border. Casualty numbers however are not yet known.'Weakening' Gaddafi
Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the NATO secretary-general, said the ongoing strikes have helped to weaken Gaddafi's hold on power in Libya and will eventually topple him.
"We have significantly degraded Gaddafi's war machine. And now we see results, the opposition has gained ground," he told a news conference in the Slovak capital, Bratislava, on Thursday.
"I am confident that a combination of strong military pressure and increased political pressure and support for the opposition will eventually lead to the collapse of the regime."
He also stressed that the NATO mission was restricted to enforcing a UN-mandated no-fly zone and that there were no plans for alliance troops to set foot on Libyan soil.Libyan officials, however, have described the NATO intervention as an act of colonial aggression aimed at grabbing Libya's oil.

After the Arab Spring, could a European Summer of pro-democracy protests be on the way?
Young people in Spain hope nationwide rallies this week will get the ball rolling.
Not exclusively for those in the prime of life, the movement is making a noise to denounce high unemployment and demand more social justice.
From a makeshift camp in Madrid to Barcelona and beyond, the movement has now crossed Spain’s borders, with rallies being held in other countries.
Online social networks are being used to organise events in Britain, Germany, Italy in Europe and also in South and Central American countries such as Mexico and Argentina.
On the Spanish front, Sunday’s local elections have spurred thousands to condemn what they see as mainstream politicians’ indifference to their plight.
Spain has the highest level of unemployment in the European Union.

The powers that be have made the carrying of the Irish flag a Public order offence under section 21.I had earlier not consented to a search and was threatened with arrest under this act also.

"Truly, those men are very ignorant of the Irish character who would abstract the religious feature from it, and paint the nation as they would any other European people, whose great aim in these modern days seems to be to forget the first fervor of their Christian origin. With the Irish this cannot be. The vivid warmth of their cradle has not yet cooled down; and, if it would be indeed ridiculous to represent the English of the nineteenth century as the pious subjects of Alfred or Edward, it would be equally foolish to depict the Irish of to-day as the worldlings and godless of France, Italy, or Spain. The Irish patriot could not be like them, without deserting his standard and the colors for which his race has fought. The nation to which he has the honor of belonging is still Christian to the core; and, if some few have really repudiated the love of the religion they took in at their mother's knee, the only means left them of remaining Irishmen, at least in appearance, is not to parade their total lack of this, the chief characteristic of their race."
The security measures in place for the visit are angering the local people who have to be searched and stopped on the streets. Traffic delays and bus and rail routes being cancelled are causing frustration for Dubliners as the ‘Royal’ entourage is whizzed through empty Dublin streets at the Irish taxpayers expense.
Opposition is continuing to the visit of Elizabeth Windsor to Croke Park in Dublin. Republican Sinn Fein are leading a protest near Croke Park.

Gardaí are expecting protests ahead of the Queen's historic visit to Croke Park this afternoon.
There has already been some clashes between Gardaí and Eirigi protestors near the War Memorial Garden in Islandbridge.
Violent clashes on Dublin's O'Connell Street and Dorset Street yesterday afternoon resulted in the arrest of 21 people.
Twenty of those appeared before a special court sitting last night, charged with public order offences.
Gardaí are expecting more protests today ahead of the Queen's visit to Croke Park, the site of a British massacre of Irish civilians in 1920.
The public order unit is on standby and Gardaí say they will not tolerate any violent protests or disturbances.
Earlier, Queen Elizabeth laid a wreath in honour of 49,400 Irish soldiers who died fighting in World War One.
UN veterans were among the dignitaries invited to today's ceremony at the War Memorial Gardens in Dublin.
Today's service at Islandbridge was requested by Buckingham Palace as part of Queen Elizabeth's State visit.
A military band played 'God Save the Queen' and 'Amhrán na Bhfíann' while the British monarch and President Mary McAleese laid commemorative poppy wreathes – one red, one green in honour of the dead.

The British Queen is to visit controversial sites on the second day of her state visit to the Republic of Ireland, including the site of the Bloody Sunday massacre by British forces.
The Queen is to honor the Irish soldiers who died fighting for Britain in the First World War at Islandbridge war memorial and pay a visit to the Gaelic sports stadium Croke Park that witnessed British soldiers open fire on innocent Irish civilians in 1920, killing 14 and injuring 80 others.
The visit to Croke Park is deemed the most important part of Queen Elizabeth's visit as the 1920 carnage there became a turning point in the push for Irish independence.
The stadium was host to a Gaelic football challenge match at the time and was mired in blood when British troops opened fire on spectators, killing 13 of them as well as one player.
The visit is also significant as it points to the troubled relationship of Britain with Ireland and calls to mind the similar Bogside Massacre in 1972, also called Bloody Sunday for the scale of the British troops' atrocities toward Irish civilians. On January 30, 1972, British soldiers from the First Battalion of the Parachute Regiment shot 26 unarmed civil rights protestors and bystanders in Londonderry, killing 13, including seven teenagers.
In 1998, the Queen knighted General Mike Jackson the second-in-command of the regiment at the time of the Bloody Sunday massacre in Derry and he was also granted the Distinguished Service Order in 1999.
In May 2007, Jackson was quoted as saying, “I have no doubt that innocent people were shot” in 1972 though that was in sharp contrast with his insistence for the duration of the 30 years after the Bloody Sunday that those who were killed were not innocent.
Still worse, Jackson's commander in 1972, the then Colonel Wilford, was also knighted by the Queen but this time shortly after he oversaw the Bloody Sunday massacre.
The Queen has never apologized for the Bloody Sunday incident nor for her honoring of Wilford and Jackson.
That points to an attitude that could have been repeated if the 1920 Bloody Sunday had happened during Elizabeth's reign as the Irish were then leading an armed struggle for independence and the Queen had a better reason to honor her soldiers for their bravery and commitment.
The Queen's treatment of the perpetrators of the Bloody Sunday in Derry also raises questions about her honesty when visiting the site of the 1920 incident supposedly for reconciliation.

Hundreds of protestors in Ireland greeted Queen Elizabeth II upon her arrival in Dublin with slogans against the British rule on Northern Ireland and in favor of a united Ireland.
Demonstrations in the central streets of Dublin echoed with chanting in support of the union of the two Irelands while angry protestors burned UK flags.
Participants in the rallies chanted slogans including “Troops out,” “No Royals" and “No one welcomes the Queen.”
The visit comes as Ireland is witnessing an unprecedented security operation with the presence of more than 10,000 police and 120 British special police forces in charge of protecting Queen Elizabeth during her tour of the Republic of Ireland.
Security forces cordoned off all the streets on Queen's route hours earlier than her arrival in Dublin effectively blocking protestors from the venues, where the Queen was to attend, by metal barriers.
Police earlier announced they had discovered a bomb in a location near Dublin despite the large scale security measures involving 8,000 Irish police officers and 2,000 Irish army soldiers to prevent dissidents' disruptive activities.
The Republic of Ireland and Britain have not enjoyed close relations over the last century due to sectarian and political problems rooted in Britain's colonization of its neighboring island.
The Queen's visit comes exactly one hundred years after former British monarch George V paid a visit to his then Irish subjects.
The visit is deemed to face more trouble as Republicans supporting the union of the Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic have vowed to do what it takes to disrupt Elizabeth's tour.
The Queen will be guarded by bullet-proof vehicles while snipers keep vigil over her route over the four days she is to stay in Ireland.
The cost of ensuring the security of the Queen is estimated to go beyond £25 million.
The Queen of England continues her visit to Dublin and traffic jams, delays are expected due to the security measures in place. Those travelling to work continue to be stopped an searched. Protests continue in Dublin.
How much is this visit costing the Irish tax payer, Mr. Gilmore? You are the leader of the Irish Labour party. This party claims to be the party of the working man.
http://www.breakingnews.ie/ireland/tanaiste-disappointed-by-turnout-for-queen-505423.html
Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore has admitted that he would have liked to see more well-wishers for Britain's Queen Elizabeth on the streets of Dublin today.
Minister Gilmore said that the security operation in place was needed however, given the threat posed by dissident republicans and others who are intent on causing trouble.
A total of 21 people were arrested in the capital today, after disturbances on O'Connell Street and Dorset Street.
The Queen of Britain is of course head of the British armed forces. There was a protest held earlier in Dublin to highlight the role of this Queen in the Zionist wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. A war, which the majority of British people oppose and want their boys and girls home from a war that has got nothing to do with the British people.
The centre of Dublin has been deserted all day. A staggering amount of Irish tax payers money has been wasted on security for the British Queen.

A number of protestors have been arrested following clashes between protestors and gardaí on Dorset Street in Dublin, close to the Garden of Remembrance.
Scuffles broke out after protestors began throwing missiles.
Gardaí in riot gear are still in the area, but the disturbances have since calmed down.
Protests are taking place in Dublin right now and scuffles have broken out on O’Connell Street. A sit down demo is taking place near the Garden of Remembrance in Dublin.

The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss Kahn, has been charged with attempted rape in New York.
Prosecutors also charged him with committing a criminal sexual act and with unlawful imprisonment.
Mr Strauss-Kahn, 62, is expected to be brought before a state court judge later today.
His attorney, Benjamin Brafman, said in an email to Reuters that his client would plead not guilty.
The investigation began when a maid at the Sofitel New York hotel in Manhattan alleged she was assaulted.
The maid claimed the incident occurred when the IMF chief got out of his shower naked.
The IMF said its number two official, John Lipsky, will step in as acting managing director.
IMF spokesman William Murray said Mr Lipsky will meet with members of the IMF board today to inform them of developments.

ELEISON COMMENTS CC (May 14, 2011) : APPLES ROTTING
In two ways a rotten apple may cast a little light in the darkness of today's eclipsed Church. Firstly, we do not wait for every part of an apple to be rotten before we call it rotten as a whole, yet parts of it are still not rotten. In answer then to the question whether the apple is rotten, we must make a double distinction : as a whole, yes; in these parts, yes; in those parts, no. And secondly, while apple is not rot and rot is not apple, yet the rot is inseparable from its apple and cannot exist without it. Let us apply the first part of this common sense to the Novus Ordo Mass and the "Conciliar church", the second part to the "Conciliar church" and the Papacy.
As for the New Mass, it is rotten as a whole by its Conciliar man-centredness, but while some parts are clearly not Catholic (e.g. the Offertory), other parts are Catholic (e.g. the Kyrie Eleison). Because it is rotten as a whole and slowly makes Catholics into Protestants, it is not fit to be attended, but that part which is the Consecration may be Catholic and valid. So one can say of the Novus Ordo Mass neither that it is valid so it can be attended, nor that it cannot be attended so it is invalid. In truth it may be valid in its essential part, but that is not a sufficient reason to expose one's faith to the danger of attending it as a whole.
Similarly, today's Church is rotten as a whole insofar as Conciliarism is widespread throughout it, but that does not mean that every single part of the Church is rotten with Conciliarism. So it is as wrong to condemn any part still Catholic because of the Conciliar whole, as it is wrong to excuse the Conciliar whole because of those parts still Catholic. To fit one's mind to the reality, one must distinguish both between the different parts, and between the whole and the parts.
And if we apply to today's Church also the second part of the comparison with a rotten apple, we can say that it is genuinely useful to speak of two churches, the "Conciliar church" and the Catholic Church, because Conciliarism is to be found in real life all through the Church, although in their pure state Conciliarism and Catholicism exclude one another like apple and rot. But they are not in real life separable any more than are the rot from its apple or any parasite from its host. In real life there is only one Church, the Catholic Church, suffering today all over from the Conciliar rot.
Therefore as to a Conciliar Pope, it is a genuinely useful way of speaking to say that he is one head of two churches, because by his words and actions, sometimes Catholic, sometimes Conciliar, he places himself all the time at the head of both the Catholic Church and its Conciliar rot. But that is not to say that he is the head of two churches separate in reality. It is to say that he is head of both the Catholicism and the Conciliarism in the one real Catholic Church presently disfigured all over by the Conciliar rot.
And why in Heaven's name are our Church leaders so enamoured of the Conciliar rot ? Because of the modern longing for liberty. That is another story. But meanwhile we must pray with might and main for Benedict XVI that he may see once more the difference between apple and rot !
Kyrie eleison.
