Nama: the truth it's a bailout for developers

Do click on this link for the article. Check out Catholicism, Protestantism, and Capitalism

Catholicism, Protestantism, and Capitalism is one of the most scholarly and comprehensive treatments of the antagonism between Catholic doctrine and the capitalist spirit. As such it is eminently persuasive. The author, Amintore Fanfani, was the Chair of Economic History at the University of the Sacred Heart, Milan, Italy, and was the heir to a long and unmatched tradition of Italian Social Catholicism, a tradition effectively sanctioned and promoted by Popes Leo XIII and St. Pius X. Catholicism, Protestantism, and Capitalism will be of particular interest to those seeking to better understand both the preconceptions and mentalities that the pioneers of the capitalist system possessed, and the reaction of Catholicism to that system. The book demonstrates, conclusively, that there is a scholarly, intelligent, and convincing answer to the propaganda which suggests that the world is irreparably divided into two camps, the capitalist and socialist.

Most welcome about this edition is the fact that it corrects a pervasive and relatively long-standing error about what the integral Social Doctrine of the Church has to say about the capitalist way of life. For far too long apologists for big business, high finance, and laissez-faire "economics" have dominated the field, and cleverly created the impression that good Catholics are, by definition, capitalists. Au contraire, replies Fanfani, in this definitive exposition of the true approach to capitalsim in light of the Catholic Faith. This edition will go a long way towards correcting a record that for upwards of 20 years has been misrepresented by parties interested more in conforming the Faith to America's "business ethic" than in conforming that ethic to the Catholic Faith.

A Nation's Suicide

Malcolm Muggeridge wrote of the great liberal death wish and the scourge of liberalism.

Source

ROME, MAY 27, 2010 (Zenit.org).- The president of Italy's episcopal conference says the two most important problems facing the nation are the "demographic winter" and unemployment.
Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, archbishop of Genoa, said this Tuesday when he opened the conference's plenary assembly.
He warned about a "slow demographic suicide to which Italy is headed."
More than 50% of Italian families today do not have children and among those that do, almost half have only one child, the rest have two. Only 5.1% of families have three or more children.

"Because of this, an urgent policy is needed that is oriented to children, which is geared henceforth to a balanced generational change-over," the prelate stressed.
He called for "innovation that can liberate the future of our society."
"The family based on that unalterable good that is marriage between one man and one woman must be defended and constantly preserved as a crucible of moral energy, determinant when it comes to giving perspectives of life to our present time," Cardinal Bagnasco affirmed.
For their part, the bishops assumed the commitment "in family ministry and in marriage preparation, to work to root even deeper the idea that children are gifts that multiply the credit to life and its tomorrow."

The episcopal conference president said the other essential point for Italy is employment, which is "the resource, or better, the minimum quota of capital that society provides to every citizen, in particular to young people in search of their first job, so that they can be inserted in society and, finding meaning in what they do, feel useful as protagonists of growth and development."
The growing employment crisis is "a concern that causes anguish, and which brings us to appeal for more effort from all types of leaders of the country: politicians, businessmen, bankers and trade unions," stressed the prelate.

Cardinal Bagnasco urged the government and society to promote small and medium-sized industries, research and tourism, agriculture and craftsmanship, and to facilitate other means of economic stability.
He said it is important to "encourage the individuals who best express the qualities of the territory and can best absorb and re-motivate the creation of employment."

No to Homosexuality

A recent protest in Romania against Sodomy. The Civil Partnership Bill in Ireland should be scrapped. Like these patriots in Romania, like the French, gassed and clubbed in recent days, our country has a set of values based on Christian principles. It is based on authentic church teaching, holy scripture, tradition. Opposing sodomy is not our prejudice but our upholding the law of God and the law of nature. Catholics have a duty to oppose this Civil Partnership Bill and stand for Traditional values. .

Restoring Fatherhood

Restoring Fatherhood, Eleison Comments CXLIX

It is easy to blame parents today for not knowing how to raise their children. It will be more useful to help all of them wishing to be helped to see where the problem of their estranged children is coming from. The problem is, in a way, as majestic as God, because it comes from the modern world's wholesale refusal and denial of God.

The human family is a small society, consisting basically of father, mother and children. Now common sense tells us that every human society needs a head to be able to function. If no head directs or commands, the society loses its direction and falls apart. A football team needs a captain, a corporation needs a chief executive officer, a country needs a king or president, a town needs a mayor, a fire brigade needs a chief, an army needs a general, a university needs a rector, a court needs a judge, and so on, and so on.

Above all, a family needs a father, because the human family is not only a human society, it is the most basic and natural of human societies, in fact it is the basic model for all other societies. This is because in no other society can the bonds which tie the members together be so deep or natural as the bonds which tie husband to wife and parents to children. Also in no other society is it so clear how the head must both command and care for the members. If a father commands without caring, the family suffers from his harshness. If he cares without commanding - rather more often the case today - it suffers from his softness. Thus family fatherhood is the model for all human authority. That is why (cf. EC 145) the Fourth Commandment to honour father and mother stands at the head of the seven Commandments governing relations in human society.

Now family fatherhood, like all fatherhood or authority, derives from God the Father. St Paul says, "I bow my knees to the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom all fatherhood is named" (Eph. III, 14,15). In other words, says the Word of God, from the fatherhood of God the Father all fatherhood in the human family, all headship in any human society, derives its nature, because the "name", or word, signifies the nature or thing. Then it stands to reason that in any world which kicks out God the Father, as our world is now doing, the name and nature of fatherhood will be drained out of our minds, and all fatherhood and all authority will be emptied out of our lives.

Family fathers, lead your families to God ! Put yourselves under him, and your wives and children will put themselves that much more easily under you. "The head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God", says St Paul (I Cor. XI, 3). Give to wife and children the example of a manly piety, as natural as it is "supernatural", and whatever our mad world may get up to for its part, you at least will be doing the best you can for the family that God has entrusted to you.
Specifics for boys will follow in another "Eleison Comments", if God wills.
Kyrie eleison.

Aborted baby cries before cremation

Many thanks to Ignis Ardens Catholic Forum for alerting us to this tragedy. It doesn’t appear that this baby was baptised. Tragic. See also The Silent Scream in the video below the article.

Source

AN aborted baby declared dead by doctors in south China's Guangdong Province cried before he was due to be cremated, but died hours later as doctors refused to treat him.
A mortuary worker at Nanhai Funeral Home in Foshan City said the baby cried and scared him as he was about to throw the coffin into a furnace, Information Times reported today.
He opened the box and found the seven-month fetus moving, but apparently choking on some cotton wool in his mouth, the report said.

After the worker cleared his mouth, the baby yawned and breathed peacefully. Workers rushed him back to Guanyao Hospital which delivered the baby as medical waste earlier that day.
But doctors left him in the lobby, and confirmed after an hour that the baby died.
The vice head of the funeral house said Guanyao Hospital sent many aborted fetuses or still-born babies for cremation. This baby apparently survived an abortion at seven months, and he had videos to prove the baby was still alive before the cremation.
Hospital official Liu Sanhong said its staff checked the baby for an hour and made sure it was dead. Liu did not say whether the doctors tried to save the baby or not.
The body was later sent back to the funeral house. The report said all workers were ordered not to talk about the incident.

On March 31, at least 21 fetuses and dead babies were found dumped in a river in east China's Jining City.
Eight had tabs with clinic code numbers attached to their feet. The Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University responsible for the corpses said they were "medical waste."
Two hospital staffers have been detained while the director and deputy director of the hospital's logistics department were sacked. A vice president of the hospital was suspended.

Maria Stops Abortion

Our appeal is that people will join this campaign of prayer and action.

Our Lady, Mother of Good Counsel

Source

You have probably heard by now that Marie Stopes (MS) the abortion providers will be airing an abortion advert on Channel 4 on Monday 24th May, Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians.

Despite a public consultation last year which ended with a decision not to allow abortion advertising, Channel 4 and MS claim that the ban does not apply to this advert as they are a 'charity' and do not make a profit from their services

Where has our society sunk to when the mass slaughter of innocent human beings has become something to promote during a break in our light entertainment? Nations are being annihilated as Our Lady of Fatima warned and we cannot just shake our heads and say "Tut, tut!". The vulnerable young women watching this advert deserve better.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

In solidarity with millions of unborn babies who have been aborted, with millions of women who have been hurt by abortion and with the approximately two hundred thousand babies threatened by abortion in England and Wales this year, we can pray and fast to stop this advert being aired.

It is worth repeating Our Lord's own words, 'And He said to them; This kind (of demon) can go out with nothing but prayer and fasting'. Do we REALLY believe him?

Other groups are considering legal challenges, which we support, and we can support them particularly with our fasting and prayer. Good Counsel had already promoted a national day of prayer and fasting on Friday 21st May. Now we are asking you to join this fast day particular for the intention of preventing this tv advertising campaign and any future such plans.

Secondly, you can pass on a link to this blog to all your friends and encourage them to join you.

Since it is such an urgent cause, we are asking people to really do their best to fast as well as they can and to participate in some extra prayer. Maybe to say an extra Rosary, a whole Rosary, attend Mass or spend some time in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

A few remarks on Democracy

Source

from Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, "Pentru Legionuri" (Bucharest: Totul Pentru Tara, 1937) translated by Stephen Fischer-Galati

[The less violent and less visionary solutions proposed by the fascists were more palatable to the East European masses than were the Communist solutions. Among the several brands of fascism that flourished in Eastern Europe between the wars, the most representative of the historical tradition was the Rumanian populist variety expounded by the Iron Guard, which blamed the oppression of the peasant on the Jews and the "Jew-like" ruling establishment. Fascist populism rejected the democratic process and advocated reliance on the "Volk" for the attainment of the fascist revolution in Rumania. The following excerpt from the writings of Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, the leader of the Iron Guard, is characteristic of the views of the Rumanian fascists, who attracted a considerable following in the countryside and among industrial workers and intellectuals in the 1930s.]

I should like to make a few remarks, derived from daily experience, in a manner that can be understood by any young legionary or worker. We wear the clothes and embrace the forms of democracy. Are they worth anything? We don't know yet. But we do know one thing. We know it for sure. That some of the largest and most civilized nations of Europe have discarded those clothes and have acquired new ones. Did they get rid of them forever? Other nations are doing their best to dispose of them and to get new ones also. Why? Have all nations gone mad? Are the Rumanian politicians the only wise men in the world? Somehow I doubt it. Those who have changed them and those who want to change them must each have their own reasons. But why should we concern ourselves with other nations' reasons? Let us rather concern ourselves with the reasons that would make us Rumanians ready to change the clothes of democracy. If we have no reasons to do so, if the reasons are no good, then we shall keep the clothes, even should all of Europe get rid of them. However, they are no good for us either, because:

1. Democracy destroys the unity of the Rumanian nation, dividing it among political parties, making Rumanians hate one another, and thus exposing a divided people to the united congregation of Jewish power at a difficult time in the nation's history.

This argument alone is so persuasive as to warrant the discarding of democracy in favor of anything that would ensure our unity--or life itself. For disunity means death.

2. Democracy makes Rumanian citizens out of millions of Jews by making them the Rumanians' equals. By giving them the same legal rights. Equality? What for? We have been here for thousands of years. Plow and weapon in hand. With our labors and blood. Why equality with those who have been here for only one hundred, ten, or even five years? Let's look at the past: We created this state. Let's look at the future: We Rumanians are fully responsible for Greater Rumania. They have nothing to do with it. What could be the responsibility of Jews, in the history books, for the disappearance of the Rumanian state? Thus: no equality in labor, sacrifice, and struggle for the creation of the state and no equal responsibility for its future. Equality? According to an old maxim: Equality is to treat unequally the unequal. What are the reasons for the Jews' demanding equal treatment, equal political rights with the Rumanians?

3. Democracy is incapable of perseverance. Since it is shared by political parties that rule for one, two, or three years, it is unable to conceive and carry out plans of longer duration. One party annuls the plans and efforts of the other. What is conceived and built by one party today is destroyed by another tomorrow. In a country in which much has to be built, in which building is indeed the primary historical requirement, this disadvantage of democracy constitutes a true danger. It is a situation similar to that which prevails in an establishment where masters are changed every year, each new master bringing in his own plans, ruining what was done by some, and starting new things, which will in turn be destroyed by tomorrow's masters.

4. Democracy prevents the politician's fulfillment of his obligations to the nation. Even the most well-meaning politician becomes, in a democracy, the slave of his supporters, because either he satisfies their personal interests or they destroy his organization. The politician lives under the tyranny and permanent threat of the electoral bosses. He is placed in a position in which he must choose between the termination of his lifetime work and the satisfaction of the demands of party members. And the politician, given such a choice, opts for the latter. He does so not out of his own pocket, but out of that of the country. He creates jobs, sets up missions, commissions, sinecures--all rostered in the nation's budget--which put increasingly heavy pressures on a tired people.

5. Democracy cannot wield authority, because it cannot enforce its decisions. A party cannot move against itself, against its members who engage in scandalous malfeasance, who rob and steal, because it is afraid of losing its members. Nor can it move against its adversaries, because in so doing it would risk exposure of its own wrongdoings and shady business.

6. Democracy serves big business. Because of the expensive, competitive character of the multiparty system, democracy requires ample funds. It therefore naturally becomes the servant of the big international Jewish financiers, who enslave her by paying her.

In this manner, a nation's fate is placed in the hands of a clique of bankers.

THE NATION

When we speak of the Rumanian nation, we refer not only to the Rumanians currently living on the same territory, with the same past and same future, the same habits, the same language, the same interests. When we speak of the Rumanian nation we refer to all Rumanians, dead or alive, who have lived on this land of ours from the beginnings of history and will live on it also in the future.

The nation includes:

1. All Rumanians currently alive.
2. The souls and tombs of the dead and of our ancestors.
3. All who will be born Rumanian.

A people becomes aware of its existence when it becomes aware of its entirety, not only of its component parts and their individual interests.
The nation possesses:
1. A physical, biological patrimony: the flesh and the blood.
2. A material patrimony: the country's soil and its wealth.
3. A spiritual patrimony, which includes:
A. Its concept of God, people, and life. This concept constitutes a possession, a spiritual patrimony. The limits of this domain are set by the limits of the brilliance of the concept. There is a country housing the national spirit, the expectations of that spirit, a spirit resulting from revelation and the nation's own efforts.

B. Its honor, which shines in proportion to the acceptance by the nation, during its historical existence, of the norms derived from its concept of God, people, and life.

C. Its culture: the fruit of its life, the product of its own efforts in thought and art. This culture is not international. It is the expression of the national genius, of the blood. The culture is international in its brilliance but national in origin. Someone made a fine comparison: bread and wheat may be internationally consumed, but they always bear the imprint of the soil from which they came.
Each of these three patrimonies has its own importance. All three must be defended by the nation. But the most important of all is the spiritual patrimony, because it alone bears the seal of eternity, it alone transcends all times. The ancient Greeks are with us today not because of their physiques, no matter how athletic--those are only ashes now--nor because of their material wealth, if they had such, but because of their culture.
A nation lives forever through its concepts, honor, and culture. It is for these reasons that the rulers of nations must judge and act not only on the basis of physical and material interests of the nation but on the basis of the nation's historical honor, of the nation's eternal interests. Thus: not bread at all costs, but honor at all costs.

THE NATION'S ULTIMATE GOAL

Is it life?
If it be life, then the means whereby nations seek to ensure it become irrelevant. All are valid, even the worst.
The question may thus be asked: What are the norms for international behavior? The nations' animal instincts? The tiger in them? Do the laws of the fishes in the sea or of the beasts in the forest apply?
The ultimate goal is not life. It is resurrection. The resurrection of nations in the name of Jesus Christ the Savior. Creation and culture are only means--not the purpose--of resurrection. Culture is the fruit of talent, which God implanted in our nation and for which we are responsible. A time will come when all the world's nations will arise from the dead, with all their dead, with all their kings and emperors. Every nation has its place before God's throne. That final moment, "resurrection from the dead," is the highest and most sublime goal for which a nation can strive. The nation is thus an entity that lives even beyond this earth. Nations are realities also in the other world, not only on this one. To us Rumanians, to our nation, as to every nation in the world, God assigned a specific mission; God has given us a historical destiny.
The first law that every nation must abide by is that of attaining that destiny, of fulfilling the mission entrusted to it.
Our nation has not abandoned that goal, no matter how long and difficult has been its own Golgotha.
And now we are faced with mountain-high obstacles.
Are we going to be the weak and cowardly generation that will relinquish, under threats, the Rumanian destiny and renounce our national mission?

Lyon: Catholics Gassed and Clubbed by Police

http://z10.invisionfree.com/Ignis_Ardens/index.php?showtopic=5119&hl=

Les Intransigeants are reporting that young Catholics defending Lyon cathedral from a Red and homosexual provocation on 15th May, 2010, were clubbed and beaten by police. A religious sister was also attacked by police with CS gas.

The sequence of events taken from the Les Intransigeants report:

http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...eants%26hl%3Den
6:46pm: About 65 riot police and 20 normal gendarmes were positioned in the square outside the cathedral. Fifteen riot vans were parked near the square.

6:55pm: The faithful arrived for 7pm Mass. Barriers were placed around the forecourt.

7:05pm: Between 50 and 60 young Catholics were outside the cathedral to protect it from invasion. Thirty aggressive Red militants arrived.

7:12pm: "Remove your Sacred Heart!" The Reds wound themselves up and directed their venom towards the appearance of a banner of the Sacred Heart.

7:19pm: Homosexual provocateurs arrived. A banner "Enough of Cathophobia" was raised. The Catholics, led by Thibaud Vincendeau with a megaphone, began to chant: "Catho-phobia Enough!"

7:22pm: About 100 Reds and queers were present opposed by about 70 Catholics in front of the cathedral. The riot police are positioned in between.

7:23pm: The young Catholics began to chant slogans such as: "1st, 2nd, 3rd generation, we are all children of heterosexuals."

7:30pm: Access to the cathedral was completely blocked to the anti-Catholic forces. The Ave Maria echoed around the square.

7:33pm: nearly 100 Catholics were now present to defend the cathedral and 120 Reds and queers.

7:37pm: Police moved the Reds and queers further away from the cathedral. The Ave maria was sung with even more gusto in an expression of thanksgiving and victory at the failure of the provocateurs to enter the cathedral.

7:4 pm: The chant "Habemus Papam!" filled the square.

7:50pm: Another dozen or so riot police arrived to reinforce their numbers.

7:53pm: The young Catholics sat down. The chant: "Europe, Youth, Christianity!" rang around the square.

7:58 pm: The police became more aggressive in their attitude towards the young Catholics and were swearing and blaspheming, trying to provoke the Catholics.

8:02pm: A papal flag was raised and the chant "St. John is ours!" resounded from the Catholics. The police began to force back the sitting Catholics towards the steps of the cathedral and allowed the Reds and queers to advance again. Approximately 15 to 20 meters separated the two sides.

8:08 pm: The riot police brutally advanced and young Catholics were physically attacked and removed by snatch squads.

8:19pm: The Ave Maria was being sung with fervor.

8:27pm: The Catholics were still sitting arm in arm and resisting the snatch squads. The slogan "A father, mother, a family !!!" greets the anti-Catholic police goons.

8:40 pm: The Reds and queers began to sing The Internationale, whilst Catholics were still being clubbed by the police.

8:58pm: About 160 Catholics, more had joined them after leaving Mass, raised themselves on their knees to begin praying the rosary.

9:34 pm: The Catholics were gassed and clubbed by the police.
The Reds left the square after failing in their attempt to take the cathedral for their perverted "kiss-in" whilst the Catholics were being beaten and gassed by police.
The Catholics were still hounded and attacked by police in the streets leading away from the square after the successful protection of the cathedral

Thousands take part in peaceful protest outside Irish parliament

Thousands of people protested outside the Dáil earlier this evening. They were marching to highlight opposition to government policy and the growing level of unemployment in the country. They focused on the point that the people of the Irish Nation have been betrayed by a self serving elite of politicians, developers and bankers. People want something fresh.

The Cervical Cancer jab is deadly!

Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, said the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and, even though theyre being recommended for girls as young as nine, there have been no efficacy trials in children under the age of 15.

Zionist shills challenged in London

McAnaspie family criticises HSE

Source

A teenage boy who died while he was in State care was let down by the Health Service Executive, his family said today.

Catriona McAnaspie said the HSE did not cater for the needs of her brother Daniel and that he was never given a chance to settle down after he was placed in care.

“He wanted a proper home,” Ms McAnaspie said. “They just threw him around from place to place. He wanted help but they wouldn’t give him as much as he needed.”

Daniel (17), originally from Finglas, Dublin, went missing in February while in the care of the HSE.

His body was found dumped in a drain on farmland at Rathfeigh, Co Meath, by a local landowner last Thursday afternoon. A postmortem revealed he had been stabbed to death.

The murdered teenager had been described as “vulnerable”. He was one of six siblings, and both of his parents are dead. He left school aged 14 and had difficulties reading and writing.

Daniel was living at a HSE property in Donabate, north Co Dublin, run by HSE personnel. He failed to return there on the night of February 25th. The HSE is liaising with the Garda as part of the investigation into his murder.

The HSE said it would fully investigate the care provided to Daniel and the circumstances leading up to his disappearance and death.

Ms McAnaspie told RTÉ radio that, since entering HSE care, Daniel had spent time in after hours care and police stations where she understood he had been beaten and robbed.

“You’re talking about a 17-year-old young fellow who has come from a proper family and doesn’t know anything about the street,” she said.

Ms McAnaspie said the family believed the HSE would attempt to cover up how Daniel had been treated and said they would fight to find out the truth.

She said that before Daniel went went missing, she had a meeting with the HSE at which she warned that Daniel would be injured or injure somebody if he spent more time on the streets.

“I blame these people,” she said. “If they had just listened to us, Daniel would still be here today”.

The HSE said any concerns raised by family members, and other relevant parties, will be addressed in the course of its review into Daniel's case, which is to be conducted under an independent chairperson.

The review is to get under way in the near future when a panel of childcare experts and an independent chairperson have been appointed, as recommended under Health Information and Quality Authority guidance.

"The unexpected death of a child under any circumstances is a tragedy. The tragic death of a child while in care is an extremely serious matter and requires careful and detailed consideration to ensure that the lessons of this tragic event can be learned," the HSE said.

Sleepless Pope

An excellent analysis here from His Lordship,Bishop Williamson. Let us pray that Benedict XVI and Conciliar Rome rediscover truth and Catholic Tradition. These “discussions” appear no more than a means to partition the Society of St. Pius X who are fighting for the Kingship of Christ and authentic Catholicism. The ball is in the court of Modernist Rome. There is Catholic doctrine and truth.

ELEISON  COMMENTS  CXLVIII  (May 15, 2010) :  SLEEPLESS  POPE.

Conciliar Rome's radical misunderstanding of what the Catholic Traditional movement is all about, was illustrated once more in Paris last Wednesday when Cardinal Kasper, head of the Vatican department for relations with other Christian churches and with Jews, gave a press conference. From the Reuters report let me quote as faithfully as possible what the Cardinal thinks, summed up in five propositions, and then comment.

1)The doctrinal discussions presently taking place every two months between four theologians of Rome, and a bishop and three priests of the Society of St Pius X, are not proving easy.  2) The main problem is the concept of tradition. "Do we want a living tradition or a petrified tradition?" asked the Cardinal.  3) He said he is for this dialogue with the SSPX, but it has to be on Rome's conditions and not on those of the SSPX.  4) If an agreement is to be reached, the SSPX will have to make concessions, and it will have to accept the Conciliar reforms.  5) Without an agreement the SSPX will have no official status, its priests will not be recognized as Catholic priests, nor will they be allowed to exercise their ministry.

(1) Of course it is not proving easy to reconcile 2+2=4 (Tradition and the SSPX) with 2+2=4 or 5 (Vatican II and Conciliar Rome). We are in the presence of two profoundly different conceptions of arithmetic, of two just as profoundly different conceptions of Catholic Truth.

(2) 2+2=4 is truth, unchanging and unchangeable, therefore "traditional". 2+2=4 or 5 is a brand new arithmetic, as "living" as one likes, but utterly unreal, and so not traditional at all.

(3) If one is discussing true arithmetic, it will be on true arithmetic's terms and not on the terms of either party discussing, even if one of the parties takes its stand on those terms.

(4) Who wants, or needs, to arrive at an agreement that 2+2=4 or 5 (Vatican II) ?  Only merchants of fantasy who no longer care for true arithmetic !

(5) If "official status", "recognition as priests" and "being permitted to minister" all depend on accepting that 2+2 can be 4 or 5, then all such "status", "recognition" and "permission" are being bought at the price of Truth. But if I sell off the Truth, how can I still have it to tell it? And if I can no longer tell the Truth, what kind of a priest can I be, with what kind of a ministry ?

Therefore in conclusion, it is not just on "tradition" but on the very nature of truth that these Romans and the SSPX part company. Changing truth,  these Romans have lost the Truth, in fact they are, at least objectively speaking, murdering it, as Macbeth "doth murder sleep" (II,2). Indeed in the same Reuters article the Pope is quoted as having said that the SSPX problem "robs him of his sleep". Holy Father, do believe that the Truth is far above the SSPX, which is no more than one of its tiny momentary defenders. Every one of us in the SSPX wishes you all kinds of well, especially to sleep well. It is not the SSPX, but murdered Truth, which is keeping you awake at night.

Kyrie eleison.

Traitors,Wasters,

It is pretty clear from this picture (click to enlarge) that people know that the main political political parties in Ireland share the same ideals and values.  The people have grown weary of the party system and are seeking an alternative.

Interview with Bishop Richard Williamson, London, 2010

A fantastic interview with His Lordship, Bishop Richard Williamson. http://truerestoration.blogspot.com/2010/05/interview-with-bp-richard-williamson.html

Find below the interview I conducted with Bishop Williamson in January of this year when I was in London visiting him.

I have been the beneficiary of yet another great review on Durendal: this time it was penned by Nicholas Wansbutter, Editor of H.L.'s Dinoscopus weekly column.  You can find his review of the interview here:
http://rencesvals.blogspot.com/2010/05/durendal-reviews-bishop-williamson.html
Please enjoy this first interview in English with the Bishop this year.  It is over 90 minutes long, and if you need to pause and come back, you can use the question #s to forward to the chapter where you left off.

The interview is divided into 7 chapters: 1) Globalism and 2010, 2) Government above God, 3) True Feminism and Catholic Marriage, 4) Benedict XVI and Vatican II,  5) The Society of St. Pius X, 6) French Leadership of Tradition, and 7) Our Lady.

The Bishop is in good spirits and the interview shows it. This interview is part of the London Interviews series.  I did two with H.L. in June 2009 and you can find links to them in the sidebar on the right under "Interviews with SSPX clergy."  If you wish to purchase any of these interviews and more, you may visit:

Wealth-Producing Maniacs

A Peter Maurin essay

1. When John Calvin legalized money-lending at interest, he made the bank account the standard of values.

2. When the bank account became the standard of values, people ceased to produce for use and began to produce for profits.

3. When people began to produce for profits they became wealth-producing maniacs.

4. When people became wealth-producing maniacs they produced too much wealth.

5. When people found out that they had produced too much wealth they went on an orgy of wealth-destruction and destroyed ten million lives besides

For Marriage and Traditional Values

Ireland is known for having large families and a strong Catholicism. A large family based on marriage is the bedrock of a healthy Nation.

EU wants member countries to co-ordinate budgets

Enda Kenny, the Fine Gael leader is certainly a hypocrite as he mentioned “handing over sovereignty” to the EU. Wasn’t he the very one who advocated a ‘Yes’ vote to the Lisbon Treaty. Fine Gael and indeed Fianna Fail have no interest Irish sovereignty. They serve their masters in the EU.

The Feast of the Ascension

Do read more here  . We also remember that on May 13, 1917, the Mother of God appeared to three children at Fatima in Portugal. Let us continue to pray that Russia is consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. As the month of May continues, let us increase our devotion to Our Lady and pray the rosary daily. Action To Arrest Wanted War Criminal Henry Kissinger

Source

Henry Kissinger has an International Arrest Warrant out for him and an attempt is made to enforce it in Four Seasons Hotel Dublin Ireland where he was staying 8th May 2010.

The annual Trilateral conference headed up and attended by David Rockefeller was held in the hotel on the 7th and 8th May.

This secretive group prepare the way for the major (also secretive) Bilderberg meeting in Barcelona Spain June 2010.

It seems that Henry Kissinger as Rockefeller’s right hand man had to be at the meeting even though there existed an International arrest warrant from France and Spain who wish to charge him with war crimes from the Chile war. The Spanish and French say Henry Kissinger is implicated in the death of French and Spanish in the war in Chile.

A delegation of Irish and some other nationalities asked the Irish Police force (Garda) to arrest Henry Kissinger who was resident in the hotel on foot of the warrant.

Later the Police/Garda forces lame excuse as they processed the arrest warrant was they were blocked due to the fact the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs were required to process the arrest warrant and that office is closed on weekends.

International Criminals have free reign on weekends in Ireland.

Therefore Henry Kissinger escaped Sunday morning at 11am probably with a police escort to the airport.

The Special Branch (political police of the Irish state) followed some of this group of protesters to a pub and later that night harassed them for the cameras they had. No cameras or film was lost but it shows that the Irish government conspired to protect Henry Kissinger from arrest breaking all EU laws of extradition.

The good news is that the protest group were able to use loud speakers to project shows like Alex Jones infowars.com and Mike Riveros whatreallyhappened.com into the hotel nearby thereby letting the NWO know the world including Ireland has woken up to the NWO.

Irish police use batons on protestors outside parliament buildings

Gardaí used their batons on protestors outside Leinster House last evening. Up to 2,000 people had gathered to protest against the bank bail outs and express their anger at the incompetent government.

Raquel Welch criticises the Pill

Source

Miss Welch said the widespread use of oral contraceptives had led to a breakdown in norms of sexual morality and fuelled the growth of rampant promiscuity among the young.

She said that the situation has grown so grave that "these days nobody seems able to keep it in their pants or honour a commitment".

While it carried some benefits, the enduring legacy of the Pill, she argued, has been social anarchy.

Miss Welch found fame in the 1966 movie One Million Years BC and was voted by readers of Playboy magazine as the "most desired female of the 1970s".

But in an article to mark the introduction of the Pill to the US market 50 years ago she has now dramatically distanced herself from the fruits of the Sexual Revolution of which she was apart.

"The growing proliferation of birth control methods has had an awesome effect on both sexes and led to a sea change in moral values," she said in an article for CNN.

"As I've grown older over the past five decades and lived through this revolutionary period in female sexuality, I've seen how it has altered American society for better or worse," she said.

A positive consequence of the Pill was that it had "made it easier for a woman to choose to delay having children until after she established herself in a career", she said.

But a "significant and enduring" effect on women was the idea that they could have sexual intercourse "without any consequences" with the result that fewer today saw marriage as "a viable option".

She said that in spite of her own three failed marriages she still believed that marriage is the "cornerstone of civilisation, an essential institution that stabilises society, provides a sanctuary for children and saves us from anarchy".

Miss Welch, 69, said: "Seriously folks, if an ageing sex symbol like me starts waving the red flag of caution over how low moral standards have plummeted, you know it's gotta be pretty bad."

Thought and Action

"Mr Rockefeller. You will NEVER get your New World Order... We are not your slaves, We are NOT your slaves!"

Representatives of The Sovereign Independent were able to confront David Rockefeller in The Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.

Source

At approximately 12.15pm on 9 th May, two representatives of the Irish newspaper, The Sovereign Independent entered The Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, where the latest meeting of the Trilateral Commission was taking place and confronted David Rockefeller at his dinner table.

We unassumingly entered the reception area of the hotel and proceeded through the lobby to the seating and dining area at the back of the premises where we sat down and ordered coffee. There was a table immediately behind us which was set up for lunch for 6 people.

We had a few copies of our newspaper with us and discussed posting a few at reception to Henry Kissinger and David Rockefeller when to my utter surprise I noticed David Rockefeller’s bodyguard walking in my direction. Without acting suspicious I then observed the trademark walking stick behind the bodyguard and David Rockefeller was suddenly walking past us and took the seat at the table set for lunch directly
behind us.

We immediately decided that we couldn’t miss this opportunity to confront the evil sitting in our midst and to our complete surprise were given the opportunity when the bodyguard appeared to leave the room.

With a few deep breaths we both rose and confronted David Rockefeller at his dinner table in front of his guests with the words. “Mr. Rockefeller, you will never get your New World Order. We are not your slaves; we are not your slaves”

The room fell into complete silence as our words reverberated all the way through to the reception area with the stunned looks on Rockefeller’s guest’s faces evident in the footage. Rockefeller had a look of complete shock on his face as I leant over him and placed a copy of The Sovereign Independent right in front of him on his table taking
care not to touch him in any way or to disturb anything on his table.

We calmly turned away as the bodyguard, clearly not knowing that we had caused the disturbance, ran past us to get to Rockefeller. We walked the approximately 40m to the front entrance, down the drive past the
attending police officers and onto the street,

Unfortunately due to the risk of our phone being taken from us as we were filming the video is a bit shaky and Rockefeller can only be seen briefly at the end, almost in silohette, although, anyone who knows what
he looks like should clearly recognise him. He is only in the last few frames of the video on the far left.

We’d been there the previous day with Jim Tucker, holding a peaceful protest, outside the gates with a number of other groups which had gone well. Hundreds of copies of the newspaper were handed to passersby who
had wanted to know what was going on.

There had also been an attempt to have Henry Kissinger arrested under an arrest warrant issued by the Spanish authorities which was, as far as was known, still valid. This evidence was presented to the police
officers on duty and recorded. This matter is currently ongoing with visits to the Spanish embassy in Dublin being made this morning, Monday 10 th May.
