We will keep the Irish pilgrims and indeed all the pilgrims in our prayers. The Masonic authorities in Paris have attacked the FSSPX. They are trying to prevent the Holy Mass taking place on the steps of Montmartre Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The organisers have asked for prayers. You are requested to recite the Memorare for this intention.
The organisers have our full support.
Again can the person who owns this blog please contact me, I need to know the numbers of people who are going from Ireland and I need to know immediately. We now do not have a chaplain, possibly due to our numbers, so we will be reliant on either the americans or the generosity of some other english speaking country. I need exact numbers. Is the owner of this blog going, or anyone else that I am unaware of? I have sent 2 emails now and I ask that you please reply to them as soon as is humanly possible as there is very little time left to sort this out. A brief email even would be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteFrom the appearance of this blog entry before it was changed, it seemed that the writer was organising a group, all I ask is that you please inform me of the names or numbers of people in this group so we can obtain a chaplain and sort out registration.
God Bless
We are not organising a pilgrimage to Chartres but would encourage people to attend with an Irish chapter.
ReplyDeletePeople often leave things to the last minute. This is never a good idea and can be very annoying for the organisers.
Be assured of our prayers.
For anybody from Ireland who reads this it is still not too late to come with the Irish group, we have until April 30th to register and registration can even be performed as late as the morning of the pilgrimge at a slightly higher cost.
ReplyDeleteThere is also the option of just turning up on the day as all the English speakers are put together anyway. We will likely be walking with the Americans and certainly be walking with the English.
For anyone who is interested in coming please contact me at:
odonovanpaul@hotmail.com
We will try to sort out the best option and plenty of information is available.
